Is Celsius legit? My brother in law sent me a referral code, is it safe to store BTC there?

They are US based and insured.

You can keep your BTC there or move it off, though like a bank, any crypto you keep there is subject to their security. The benefit of leaving BTC there is they pay you interest on the BTC you have with them.

But yes, it is a legit platform just new. Out of New Jersey I believe.

How are the fees if I decide to transfer out BTC to CoinbasePro or to a cold storage wallet

Basically, the withdrawal fee is whatever the network fees are. Around $17 per transaction, which you can check here: BitInfoCharts

To get the interest rate they are all doing collateralized and uncollateralized lending of your tokens. They are yield farming with a portion of deposits, so risk is there.

Are the deposits insured in any way? Banks yield farm the same way, but my deposits are FDIC insured. I'm not opposed to calculated risks, I just want to know how to calculate them

Was nobody going to tell him that LINK isn’t an “ETH killer”? In fact LINK isn’t even a blockchain.

Nowhere did I say that link was an eth killer nor that it was a blockchain.

Guess that's why nobody else commented.

It really wasn’t hard to read your comment and perceive it that way.

You’re also assuming the others around here know anything

But I agree I try to avoid ETH/BTC killers.

I just leave it in there and allow for compound Interest. You are paid in the same token you deposit .

With news of the stimulus coming in, I think it’s time to pump these crypto numbers up.

These are rookie numbers.
