Thanks for the rundown, I looked it up and didn't really get it. You explained it better

Can someone tell me why radix isn't the long term play in the defi market?

It scales as good as near

Better app connectivity than all

More secure than the others

Much faster than all the others, in terms of speed of the platform and ability to make changes

Near is the only one that has the developer incentives that are comparable

Seems to me, if we in general, believe in chainlink, radix would be our major play long term in the defi market. Polkadot is the short term, but with its issues of scalability, connectivity etc, seems like radix would over take it long term with its ability in finance.

Just trying to get everyone's opinions.

4.41 billion tokens. Looks like if Eth scales it really isn’t needed. How will it gain integrations ?

Mainly due to cost and speed but prolly most importantly scalability. Also easier development.

I mean maybe eth 2.0 fixes the scalability issue and lowers the fees while speeding up transactions, but that all up in the air and radix already fixes those issues.

Anyone that uses polkadot or eth. Its solves the scalability issue which is prolly the main issue with eth and even dot.

Here is a pretty good article that covers it
LINK

Just seems like in the long run it fixes almost all the issues currently plaguing defi. Atleast much better than the current applications.

did you buy it in uniswap?

eth in it's current form is a complete mess so I'm intrigued

There are too many layer 2s and alternate layer 1s and there’s no clarity yet on who is gonna take the lead. I don’t like these plays. The better DeFi bets are on the applications which will have the ability to be on multiple layer 1s and layer 2s.

LINK running over $23. Not a chart reader by any stretch of the imagination but have seen a few people say we should be headed to $28 based on the chart.

That's the next fib extension. It broke through its all-time high and if it can hold above, that appears to be the next run-up.

Ok, so what's your long term play in the defi market?

No, I haven't bought yet, I was truly just curious what yall opinions on it where as it seems to actually offer solutions to many of the issues plaguing the space. I hadn't seen any mention of it on here and was wondering if I was missing something.

I know it's newer and not the easiest token to get, but the research and solutions seem to be there.

But you guys are much more into the defi space than I will prolly ever be, that's why I wanted opinions.

I've been dumping heavy into ALGO but it is time to look for something new. I don't have as much LINK anymore since I sold on the previous run up

My favorites are Aave, Sushi, Synthetix, Yearn, and Rune but playing it through link, eth, or DPI (an index) gets exposure too. Link is the oracle for a huge chunk of DeFi platforms and they are all on ethereum
