I've enjoyed the discussion as well, but you have to admit, you're giving them a lot of ammo.

That type of post is exactly why no one is taking you seriously. There are so many other factors that will affect BLUE's value other than science, but your ego won't allow you to see it. You think the fact that you know the science better than the market does makes you an astute investor, but I'd argue the opposite. You're too invested in the science and have no ability to be objective - that usually turns out poorly with investments. Then throw in your salesmanship and anger at everyone who isn't blindly following your gospel, and it's a big red flag.
It's like the LSU fan that bets on them every game - sure you may know our roster better than Vegas but that still makes you a poor gambler.

Sigma I just like to troll them bc theyve annoyed the life out of me, I think you're great and hope I can keep in touch with you somehow bc I probably won't stay here I clearly have nothing to learn from the 99% on this forum. I came here for 4 days and pretty much besides you and nofox it's just a clownshow of rookies in here. I enjoyed the debate and troll the last few days but I won't do this forever, I'll certainly pop in when my names boom but please don't think I don't appreciate your insights I think you're brilliant and honestly prob too good for this forum.

Is anyone still talking science? If any of you are actually in biotech, I'm interested in any advice on how to get into the industry. Currently in university biology research and teaching myself programming on the side, but I'd like to switch over to private sector biotech work

You forgot the part where he says he is leaving the board every 3rd post but then never does.

Just tryna educate a couple country bumpkins on hot revolutionary science U all don't hear about down south. To the kid getting into biotech get an mba/phd combo and start looking in Cambridge mass that's the silicon valley equivalent of biotechs. The car t revolution is real and you'd be wise to get in and get some stock options before one of these great companies does something spectacular

Based on his suggestions in the 2 year investment thread - biotechs with negative earnings (which he brushed off as if negative earnings and cash flow was a subjective concept and not something that can be objectively fricking quantified) - IMO he should be banned.
He is either a legitimate imbecile and has no place pushing garbage "advice" here, or he's a con pumping volume on various message boards to try and move the needle opposite his /his employer's existing dumbass positions. They're pretty common.

this is not true. What you maybe meant to say is that You don't care what anyone has to say unless it is in some way related to how amazing BLUE is.
When Kork asked a few underlying questions earlier, you responded with information from a BLUE press release and a quote from the CEO... not necessarily unbiased sources.
Here's a hint Dunson:

is this guy just pumping up his own company?

I'm in Cambridge a lot. It's really annoying how metro Boston pretends science outside of biotech and software engineering don't exist.

There's other science but outside of biotech or synthetic biology don't you dare call that stuff cutting edge and monster Lololol at the guy who thinks I'm pumping a $5b company geez man some people are too ridiculous for their own good, I'm borderline ashamed of how small minded some people are good lord you cannot pump anything over like $75m market cap that's just a fact and if I was to pump why would i to a pack of clearly mundane oil bulls with no biotech insights whatsoever lmao negative earnings that's the most amateur comment ever, no biotech in mid stage has earnings they all get acquired somehow lmao u guys are too much stop it hurts me im laughing so hard

At least you had the guts to admit you don't dabble elsewhere, amateur.

Continue learning to program. I have been doing bio stats and informatics work for the last few years and there is a lot of stupid money being thrown around. I do a lot of work in C#, Perl, Python, SQL, and of course R. I deal with a lot of sequence data, so I strongly recommend learning Perl.
I do know a few universities still have classes teaching SPSS and SAS. I do not think those are worth learning.

Anchors away.
Looks like trademan ran off. Too bad... This is why we can't have nice things.
