I straight up admit that I'm concerned about the effects of data centers, and AI.

Socially, I wouldn't argue for them for 1 second. And hope in general, that they're not as "successful" and as life changing as many predict.

That said, my portfolio has a handful of businesses in it that I would be okay if they disappeared. I'll just have to sleep thinking that I'm doing the best I can to provide for me and my family amidst the world we live in. I don't think my little investments will change them in any way.

Sometimes it sucks though.

There is always going to be these types of issues. Whether it's a new mall, power plant, shopping center, warehouse, manufacturing facility, housing development, bar, etc. People want the empty lot behind their house to stay empty and never be built on.

I sympathize with these folks, for sure, but what do we propose to do? Stop all progress? I am looking to buy a house, but you can be damn sure I'm going to be very carful about where I build. Not just about what is behind my potential house, but I will also look at the potential traffic from future construction in the area.

I bought NBIS as a hedge on life as we know it.

Life can suck worse due to AI and we have no money
Or, Life can suck due to AI and we at least have some money.

OOOORRRRR,

Life can improve, due to AI.

We don't really know, at this point. It will probably make life worse for people in certain fields or people who can't/won't adjust.

We are at a point where our working population is decreasing, due to aging out and reduction in illegal aliens. AI can help take some of the stress off of that reduction in force.

It's a great discussion.

I think the "AI threat" is way overblown, like nearly all step-function changes in technology have been. There will be dislocations, lots of them, but when we come out the other end of the transition, labor will be a shite ton more productive - and that'll be a good thing.

NBIS would have to build a single-purpose data center to enable the replacement of SFP.

Earnings are in about 30 days (estimate), and I'll be surprised if we don't touch 175 over the next few weeks as this consolidation has been textbook.

So is the NJ data center delay talk just made up crap or is it legitimately being delayed again?

The way I see it, if it were something to worry about, we'd be at $120.
I don't know what to make of it.
Honestly, I'm chilling with NBIS.
Mostly focused on OUST, NOW, and to a lesser extent MRLN.

The real question is when do we get out? Or just let it ride?

I’ll sell out of NBIS when AI compute is no longer in demand.

I didn’t get shaken out from $140 to $70 so I don’t foresee myself selling any time soon.

I’d think $200 is likelier than $100 in the short term.

Still watching BRUN/WLAC, but I find NOW and OUST more immediately compelling (and MRLN).

BTW, I learned yet another tidbit about Nebius/Avride today when researching OUST, a LiDAR company.

Having learned that Hyundai uses LiDAR on their robo taxis I thought that Avride might be using Ouster sensors.

NOPE! Leave it to a Nebius subsidiary to produce in house LiDAR solutions for autonomous vehicles. Duh!

Google of Russia may end up being same level as Tesla/Google. They are 10 moves ahead it seems

08:12 AM EDT, 04/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Dell Technologies (DELL) has entered into a $1.44 billion agreement with Boost Run, which is preparing to combine with Willow Lane Acquisition (WLAC), Willow Lane said Wednesday.

Under the agreement, Boost Run will receive the hardware and software needed to support long-term client commitments and expand capacity across its infrastructure footprint, the company said.

Willow Lane also said Boost Run has expanded its financing partnership with Dell Financial Services to enable more flexible capital deployment.

Willow Lane said the combined company is expected to be listed under the proposed symbol "BRUN" following the business combination with Boost Run.
This name is almost totally undiscovered still.
If NOW takes off after earnings I may re enter.

Wish I knew more details from the deal however...

A $1.44B contract adds up, since there are only 17M shares outstanding.
