Easy to feel that way about options…also nerve racking to be holding them, especially so damn many, over a weekend….when anything can happen. Got lucky on the good news I was hoping for when I bought the 10/31s

I sold my 10/31’s on Friday right before the bell.
I didn’t want to see them decay all weekend and then have a possible pull back on Monday, because the stock was so hot to end the week.
I could’ve made a lot more money if I didn’t. But in the end, I made good money and I don’t regret it. I think it was the smart thing to do.
I’m trying to loose that, “I could of made more” mentality.

I got stopped out and purchased back at $113. Sold the 120... and now I will get assigned.
Will try to purchase a call or 2 for late Nov.

IT was so right.
I sold all 50 of my 10/31s $125s at 2.95 average. Made 3k
Thankfully I got into 11/7 $130s at 3.99
Those will appreciate nicely

I have my order ready on calls for AMKR. A call spread is roughlt 150 to make 270 at the 37 mark.
But may try my hand at buying calls.
Also looking at a friday SPY call consider a large portion of that index is reporting this week.

Crazy observation on the chart.
If we open at $122 we will have only really filled the area from 117 to 122 just once out of four trips.
We first gapped up on extra MSFT details and AL data center “news” and that gap barely got filled on a retest.
Then we gapped down at the beginning of The Great Panic.
Now it appears that we will skip the range once more with insane upward momentum and China news.
I’m obviously hoping that one gap fill was enough!
If we open at $122 we will have only really filled the area from 117 to 122 just once out of four trips.

You have to think with all of this momentum this will be a very good week. Overall sentiment plus the NVDA conference.
Thinking of taking one more biggish position for 11/16 to let ride to Friday. I’m within 5% of getting back to my pre panic account high.

Has anyone heard of ALLT?
I’ve watched it for almost a year.
It looks like it could really break out with good earnings on 11/18.
Sub 500mm cap.
Looks like a great sector.
No nonsense company (not at all a meme).
I kind of group them with LTRX, of which I own 500 shares.
Might do something similar with ALLT as a multi year investment.

Dumb question.
If you put in a limit order premarket above the last closing high will the order get triggered on the opening move or will the ask leap frog the limit and not get triggered?

That’s the very definition of a gap up or down.
The first trade today will likely be in the 120s, which would be a continuation from last night’s trading and this morning.

I have put in limit orders that I thought missed the mark because the market opened higher than my bid, but the order filled because of a pullback right after opening. As you know, the price can be very volatile right at opening, as everyone is trying to figure out where this thing is going to go today.

Wow. That’s crazy. I took margin and used it to really jump start things in the low 100s and I’m not near it just yet.
That being said, I will be there at a much lower price now, hopefully around $133/$134 (instead of $141) with quite a bit more options now. I expect to hit that this week, and depending how quickly, those 10/31 $130s could be fire for me

I’m nowhere as near aggressive as you guys so overall my positions were relatively small and I bailed on a lot within the first few days. I’m tight by nature so I’ll never win big either.
