Nah. Was just making a joke

Honestly no one I know has any clue about NBIS. But I also mostly hang with Microsoft squares. Getting them to use Linux in an enterprise environment would pose… barriers.

We are still early.

But also, the lack of Windows or MAC Os availability on a NBIs box is likely a non-starter for many in this space. But that’s nothing new. They do offer a no O/S vm but if you are this committed, may as well learn some sudo shell commands and enjoy the savings.

What do yall think of that lol?

I just want to make sure that doesn’t become a money pit for them and is actually making profits for them. I’m not sure in sold on that robot delivery but I honestly don’t know. I worry about theft and vandalism etc like others in the comments.

So do we think anything can happen during the upcoming conference that will make the stock go up?

I’m thinking of buying some calls right before the conference.

Just read an article that one of the largest data centers in the world is being built a few miles south of me in St Lucie County.

The company building it is unknown. This will be a 1 GW data center. Anyone know who's behind it?

The name of it will be Sentinel Grove.

SG Data Center

Are you referring to the NVDA conference in a few days?

If you currently have options that expire after the conference then you’ve already bought pre conference options!

Waiting to buy more may mean paying more.

I think the earnings report is the biggest thing in the pipeline. I would bought this past week before the conference because you never know, and Nebius could get a bump from the conference.

You could buy short term (10/31 or 11/7) expiry and get them really cheap on the belief that the lead up to the earnings report is going to drive prices well above your strike price and make a quick buck.

I chose to buy options that expire after earnings and those are more expensive, but a little less risky, imo.

I have 11/21 $105 calls. Those are my earnings report money makers hopefully.

I sold my 10/31’s right before the bell because I thought we might get a little pull back this weekend or Monday/Tuesday.

I’m thinking I definitely wanna get back in before the Nvidia conference.

So yeah, you could play the conference and hyperscaler earnings this week by buying a 10/31 on Monday.
Just be careful and disciplined on taking gains. Map it out before you buy.

You can also buy 11/7s and give yourself more room.

I own the following right now ahead of earnings. The size of my positions note the risk. Two contracts might make me a couple hundred bucks at most.
I’m fine with that.

I could see those 11/7s go ITM and potentially be worth $8-12

Definitely bullish as they see years of build out and capex.
Gotta be a hyper, Open AI or xAI…?
Can Hut8 afford that??
They are building one near us.

By that point you could assign a P/E ratio of 40 and be well within reason.
Assuming no other group revenue and 20% profit margins then

2.4x40=96bn
That’s 2.4bn in net income at 40x price to earnings.

96000000000/300000000=320

$320/share factoring in fairly significant dilution.

Mind you, these numbers are considered conservative.
P/E could easily be 50-150
