I bought a LEAP for 1/15 2027 @ 50 Strike back in July for 19.31 -Would i do better continuing to hold ? Or should i be selling this and continuing to buy multiple contracts with the profits for November - January?

The Oracle deal is huge because it ramps down on the fears of those who are worried that the bubble will burst and demand will dry up.

It's funny how our viewpoint changes so quickly. If I had told you 10 days ago that NBIS would be 111.00 on 10/24, you would have said, "No way. That's terrible."

If I had told you that it would be $111.00 and that you'd be thrilled to death about it, you would have thought I was crazy.

It wouldn’t surprise me…this has been a rollercoaster and lesson on how not to get too far out over your skis on a stock that’s running.

That said, I’m liking the feel of this rally going into earnings and may need to add to my 1/16s.

Well done!!
If you are after more juice, then yes.
Look at the gains on your LEAP yesterday compared to the gains on a 12/19 $140 for example, which was up 25-30% yesterday alone.

Of course, this means more downside risk too. Do what fits your goals. You’ll have a good bit of capital to work with so you may consider diversifying your options. Buy some in November, January, March, etc.

I think this is where we’re headed, and it’s exciting. I’ve been trying to wrap my mind around it since reading the whitepaper, and it’s starting to actually click.
The MSFT contract is not the main business. It’s a funding source for a diversified customer base. Bare metal rentals purely for the sake of another company to run its own LLMs is not the goal for NBIS (This distinguishes Nebius).
But no, NBIS wants you on their platform longer term. Thats the moat.
However, I’m still not sure how to value that aspect…

Tough to assign value, but I speculate only good things.

With the security and compliance in place, large companies should take the easy route and get into NBIS for their ai needs.

However, I am always reminded of this meme:

I want to see those enterprise contracts. How long will that competitive advantage last? In a world where resources are scarce, competitors may catch up if they feel they are losing business to Nebius.

Nebius is a small fish. As an IT consultant, the old adage was, "Nobody ever got fired for hiring IBM.". We see a version of that in today's world where Nvidia GPUs are worth a premium.

Can Nebius become the Gold Standard in their sector? It takes more than having the best product - you have to have a consensus that you are the best in your market.

Probably my first move this morning with my profits from the 0DTE $110's I got is to get into 10/31 $130s. We got some major players announcing earnings next week and the Fed meeting will potentially announce a rate cut on October 29....

got a 9:00 - 10:30 this morning that I can't miss, which really really sucks on how quickly I can react. If this hits $175 after earnings I am quiting my job and doing this full time

I would like to say yes, but standing operating procedure is to monitor in the morning and have a beer at a bar for lunch to celebrate and/or bring good luck.

Remember when NBIS hit $141 a couple of weeks ago, and then the stock ended up in the $120s by the end of the day? Even last week, it shot up to $135 and then went down by 8 bucks within 30 minutes.

I guess my point is don't spike the football too soon. Don't be that guy who drops the ball just before crossing the goal line because he starts his celebration too soon. Be patient, and you will be rewarded.

In the words of a wise philosopher, Kenny Rogers, "There'll be time enough for countin', when the dealings done.".

I was thinking a long the same line, but was leaning towards 10/31 $125s.

I was peaking at the price and looking at the cost/benefit/risk and settled on the 125's. Is there a reason you chose the $130s, other than they are slightly cheaper?

Just trying to figure out the benefit vs the risk...

Screw this call. Ugh. I’m. Going to excuse myself at 9:28 and come back at 9:35

Just thinking this could feasibly get back to $140 next week now, with CPI today. If the shorts panic today on options close day, this thing could go up nicely today. Would make it tough for them to pressure it again next week. With big earnings coming and a rate cut likely on 10/29…it’s very possible.

Keep in mind, I am extremely active with trading and will keep a closer eye on the 10/30 $130s so any movement I don’t like I can unload them.

$125 is the much safer and I think will be in the money for sure
