They are going to continue to rise

Think so. I heard they had some rates that were 4.5%+ on Friday afternoon. I guess demand really is that high.

I got in for 3.1% at my credit union. They went up to 3.3 and then 3.6. I just looked and they still have 3.6 listed.

I was wondering if anybody has a live look this morning. We met with our mortgage broker on Friday and showed us the live feed of all the rates. Many 4's with some 5's mixed in.
Two weeks ago 2.65 on a 15 year. Hoping to get something similar

Late Friday afternoon I barely dropped back below 4 on the 30’s. Am going to get lower pricing this morning. Not sure how much yet though.

I made a huge mistake, not having our paperwork and everything in the hands of the broker. Now we just need to press a button when rates come down.

They will come back down for new mortgages, and will for refi's after the hysteria dies down.

Just got 2.75 on a 15 yr refi locked.

Filled out paperwork back when they were 2.65 a couple weeks back, local credit union is so backed up I still haven't heard from them. Hopefully we get all the i's dotted and t's crossed by the time they fall again in the near future. Not a matter if they get back down below 3 but when imo.

What do they charge in points, underwriting fees, etc?

I’m so glad I locked in at 2.625 on my 15 year a few weeks back. Zero points.
A few people made me fomo posting about their 2.3s but dang I got a damn good rate.
