Sheesh
they released Phase 3 of their Melanoma Cancer MRNA vaccine with extremely good results and it has absolutely skyrocketed
If you have some you might be rich now

Good news for their investors. Better news for humanity. This has always been one of the big hopes of mRNA research, and it's nice to see it hopefully coming to fruition. Now, let's work on other forms of cancer.

The combination regimen met the main study goal of significantly extending the time patients lived without their melanoma returning, compared with Keytruda alone. The treatment also reduced the risk of the cancer spreading to distant parts of the body. Those results build on positive Phase 2 trial data on the same regimen earlier this year

Every tumor has a unique set of mutations, even among patients with the same type of cancer, Healy said. Merck and Moderna’s personalized vaccine is designed to target the specific mutations in each patient’s tumor rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. The idea is to train the immune system to recognize and kill those unique cancer markers and then pair that response with Keytruda, which helps the body attack the cancer more effectively.

Merck and Moderna are studying the vaccine in several trials across other tumors, such as non-small cell lung cancer, bladder cancer and renal cell carcinoma.

Well they said the Covid shots had excellent results too.

ELI5: Moderna made a cancer vaccine that is custom for every person.
Doctors read the DNA of your tumor, find what makes it unique, then make an mRNA shot that teaches your immune system, “Attack cells that look like this.”
They combine it with Keytruda, a drug that helps stop cancer from hiding from your immune system.
It just succeeded in a Phase 3 melanoma trial.
Not a cure for all cancer. But a pretty huge idea if it works for other cancers too.

Make sure you double mask too

Yep, I'm very leery of any mRNA "vaccines". I'm also EXTREMELY tired of all the ubiquitous drug commercials that totally dominate programming commercials. Has anyone heard any more regarding the previously talked about proposal to ban drug commercials? It's only us and New Zealand that allow that to go on.

Isn’t this how the I Am Legend zombie apocalypse started….

Serious question not meant as a "gotcha." Would you take this vaccine if you had a cancer this worked on? I can understand one's hesitancy because of the covid vaccine, but given the choice, I know I'm taking this one.

And because we allow it to go on, we outpace the rest of the world by far in terms of R&D and get breakthroughs like this that can change the world

if I had cancer I’d inject it into my eyeballs

That poison.
Dr Robert Malone, one of the inventors of mRNA technology has said repeatedly that it’s a very bad idea to use this in a vaccine.
Messenger RNA (mRNA) instructs your DNA how to “Express Itself).
It like the software telling the hardware what to do. Even what to be.
It’s a very bad idea to inject foreign mRNA into your body.

The Ibrx guy invented a cure for bladder cancer that uses T cells or something but the fda made it illegal because it didn’t cause enough miscarriages
You gotta go to the Middle East to get it

President Trump is an outstanding trader. He disclosed a March purchase of Moderna. A once in a lifetime visionary.

Seems like if it's supposed to be a "vaccine", it would be useless once you have the cancer. No, probably not to answer your question. After the COVID debacle I really don't trust any news that comes out of these drug companies.

Whaaaattt?? Allowing drug companies to spend millions of dollars dominating commercials on the airways thereby essentially bribing networks to prevent them from giving any bad press on side effects, etc. is what allows us to produce superior drugs?? What other benefit is their in telling people to "ask your doctor about this medication"? BTW, have you seen where the US ranks compared to other countries in health and longevity?

Watched the interviews on squawk box today, some really neat info. It was a joint interview with Moderna and Merck CEOs as they partnered on this, but it seems to be based largely off Moderna research. Interesting was how they talked about the research being advanced after initial success of Keytruda where the researched showed being really effective targeting melanoma.

I know my health condition of HBP could be managed without a pill but I choose not to....now multiply that bad choice by 4 or so times for many Americans.
