Don’t see why it would result in a bounce of much… nothing will change. Yeah stupid legislation like the Inflation Reduction Act won’t get introduced, but the Repubs wont be able pass anything to help the economy, Biden still owns the veto and the Repubs won’t have enough to override.

Even if they win it is not like they will ever do anything meaningful. They will scream and scream about spending and reducing government like most Americans want while they have a democrat vetoing things and as soon as they get full control they suddenly become a big spending big government extension of the democratic party until they are kicked out of power again. Wash, rinse, repeat.

I suspect that the GOP taking both houses of Congress will cause a brief rally until the lame duck demprogs push another load of economy wrecking leftist notions. In January when power actually changes hands, I expect a surge in business confidence when the loony left can no longer keep their wet blanket on the investment climate and the dementia patient in the White House will be in hobbles.
