What if half of the world doesn't give a frick about FB, Meta, or whatever?

I got rid of FB a year ago and probably know a dozen others who've done the same. Sounds like they are trying to rename the Titanic after it's already hit the iceberg.
I don’t use Facebook that much; I’ve never had an Instagram account; and only used WhatsApp on my honeymoon out In Jamaica, >7 years ago. So I only use one of their 3 main services, and I don’t use it very often, especially compared to like 15 years ago when I was in college.

That said, Facebook’s revenue and profit have consistently shown strong growth for years, despite our lack of usage usage (including your friends who stopped using it). So I doubt much is going to change to reverse the trend anytime soon (especially if they’re adding new revenue streams).

MANA (Decentraland) is the play here. Hitting the moon last 48 hours but it should come back down to earth over the next few months. I think over the next 2 years or so this thing will become a monster. It’s the industry leader currently.

MANA was called on the discord at one point. I bought back in February/March at 0.30 and sold when it made the run up to $1.00. Kicking myself now!

Kudos to wherever called it back then and to Gator when he started this thread !

Mana and sand are ok. For the bigger gainz, I’ve been going with smaller cap ones. Altura a Metaverse/nft/gaming crypto play is my favorite.

Thanks for posting.

When you posted this, SMURF was at .89
I didn't have any free cash at the time but ended up buying at 2.13 after doing some DD.
May close up to 3.00 today.
Could be very big things ahead.

How can you not buy a stock with that ticker symbol, especially if you are in your 40's/50's.

Speaking of SMURF (tokens.com), they bought real estate within Decentraland worth around $2.4 million.

quote:

LONDON (Reuters) - A patch of virtual real estate in the online world Decentraland sold for a record $2.4 million worth of cryptocurrency, the buyer crypto investor Tokens.com and Decentraland said on Tuesday. Decentraland is an online environment - also called a “metaverse” - where users can buy land, visit buildings, walk around and meet people as avatars.
