@WDE251 Which edition of Managerial Economics by Thomas and Maurice do we go for ? If you have any course materials or references, please email me at sernt2018@yahoo.com.

I'm gonna jump in here, but WDE251 can correct me if I'm wrong, but I honestly don't think it matters, as long as it's somewhat recent. Personally, I would probably aim for something 2-4 years old, not the latest versions. This is mainly because all of the supplemental videos are relatively old and refer to things in the books, most likely from those years.

@sernt18 I agree with @baroquen . It’s just a supplemental textbook. You will really need to rely on his videos for exam purposes. I would think any version within 5 years will be sufficient.

@craig I still don’t have my case assignment grade

Felice Williams --> MADM710 & MADM701
Kimberley Williams --> MADM720

I'd recommend either professor personally. Have taken both courses over the last couple months and both were laid out well IMO. Finishing up 710 with Felice now.

@WDE I'm sure you'll see your grade today. My Assignment 6 grade "disappeared" from my Grade sheet on Monday (has happened previous weeks as well). Typically reappears with Discussion grade sometime on Thursday. Still waiting for that to happen this week.

@GeauxDEEJ I would contact the MBA Coordinator to ask for your situation. Typically they do a "Degree Checkout" during the final session you're in and you'll be eligible for the following graduation ceremony.

By any chance does anyone have any feedback on Heller? I just saw an opening for MADM701.

Debating taking it with Felice williams or Nathan Heller....

Looks like it is the first time Heller is teaching MADM701...I've heard Williams MADM701 is a little bit much.

I thought so too at the time, then I was introduced to Dr. Karen James. James makes Williams look like a Community College TA.

lo...ok cool. I got an A in Dr. James course.

Maybe I'll stick with Williams. Is her course have proctored exams and stuff like that? Or tons of busy work.??.

I’m enrolled for Heller in the Fall semester now . It doesn’t look too bad. You can see the assignments when you click on grades link. Looks like 2-3 discussion post a week 150 word minimum, weekly quizzes and 3 “reflection” projects which just look like case analysis. It seems more of a lot of busy work. However, I’ve had James in the past and I don’t consider anything else that difficult/time consuming .

I am considering switching from Vines to Choi for FIN 701. How was Choi's teaching style compared to Vines?

Didnt take Choi, but I thought Vines was rather easy. Believe it was simply three exams in which is open notes and he gives you a study guide.

Vines is the known entity for FIN701, I'm sticking with Vines for Fall AP1

I'm 8 in, got Vines and Meeks and then I'm out.

I read a few pages back about employers asking about how many credits the MBA program was (36 vs 30). Any insight into that? This is the first I've heard that was a thing...
