This is why I picked LSUS as well! I appreciate every single post on here and I have been following since March 2016- when I applied. I enjoyed MADM760 (Meeks) in AP1 and became a little adventurous and decided to take ISDS702 (Hayati) and ECON705 (Shaugnessy) for AP2. I would like everyone's opinion on if this is too much for the next 7 weeks? To give a little of my background, I have a full-time job, an hour commute both ways, married with a toddler. Thanks in advance.

I'm saving ISDS for my last class. I paired ACCT and ECON together. My only C's in the program. I'm over a 3.0 which is the mandated GPA. But, ECON was no slouch.

ISDS and ECON is an ambitious pairing. It'll be a rough 7 weeks but at least you'll have both out of the way.

Update as of day 2: MADM 720 seems like a good bit of busy work with text citations. Hopefully grading isn't too inconsistent. ECON 705 seems like a lighter load but the material is much more difficult. For those that had 705 how was the grading? What did y'all end up with?

I found it very consistent, too consistent. No matter how much effort I put in (given I met the requirements and minimal effort) I got a B on everything almost. At the time, her assistant grading mine was from Duke and she gave me positive and corrective feedback and a B no matter what I did.

What do you think of 701 so far?

Langston, I appreciate the feedback. Do you remember how you prepared for the assessments? As far as what worked or didn't work?

I am also in the Econ 705 class currently. Do you know if any of the assignments are timed?
Posted on 10/26/16 at 1:09 pm to Benny The Jet
So far, I've completed the quiz and self assessment and none have been timed. I'm starting on the assignment tomorrow and will more than likely take the end of module assessment either Friday or Saturday.

How was it? I still have to read the majority of Chapter 2.
Posted on 10/26/16 at 5:49 pm to Benny The Jet
Not bad at all. You get two attempts at the quiz.

Are the quizzes the same exact questions?
Posted on 10/27/16 at 11:16 am to Benny The Jet
Nope. Quizzes are the easy part. The actual test itself is arduous.

Are the Self Assessments similar to quizzes?

I do not remember, sorry. Wish I could help you more with that.

How are the MADM claases compared to MKT class?
Posted on 10/27/16 at 7:44 pm to Colonel Flagg
They're congruent with one another in terms of writing and discussion forums. But I found mkt to be more time consuming.
