WM and HD will be the horses I ride this year.
What do you mean by that?

Are you rebalancing to go overweight in both?

Are you going 50/50 for your whole portfolio?

Or you just planning to buy a lot (or a lot more) of both?

I started tax harvesting my epic losses in VIAC And think the nasdaq 100 will flatline. I’m focusing on dividend+growth. After the fire, it seems like WM and HD will fill that itch for the next year. So that’s where I put what’s left of my losses and my ‘25 Roth.

We will see a bump after Inauguration Day. Then earnings will be good for all the big cap. As mentioned above Lowe’s and Hd will have a record 4 years under trump and his relaxed regulations. Also big on financial stocks since they will have less regulations. This isn’t a political opinion and don’t care for comments saying if this is good or bad it’s just the situation. And really I think HD, Lowe’s, financial stocks, and real estate stocks will be great earners for people. One stipulation I think commercial real estate stocks won’t be good since as leases come to an end they won’t be renewed due to hybrid or WFH shifts in companies

My LODE $1 calls for April look horrible right now. Really thought I would be making serious bank on these at the end of December.

Things can turn around very quickly with low CPI and good earnings starting tomorrow.

PPI up .2% vs .4% expected. Dow up 250 at the moment.

That's a good start!
Now...

“All eyes are now on Wednesday’s CPI report, as it will fuel the market’s Fed-obsessed sentiment,” Brigati said. “A strong inflation number adds to this idea of no cuts in 2025, and potentially even a rate hike, while a weak inflation data point may help to calm the market’s Fed fears.”
