LVVV isn't on Robinhood

It’s frustrating when that money shows up as “Available for trading” but you still can’t buy LVVV until it hits “Nonmarginable funds”. It may also show up in nonmarginable funds while it is still on hold - I know at times I’ve been able to buy, just not able to withdraw.

I started out on robinhood but I had to get on TDA to do LVVV

So many times I’ve missed those dips, because I’m always using next month’s investment budget to grab unplanned shares. Like instead of paying my credit card that month, I’ll let it ride, use that money to buy LVVV, then use next month’s investment money to pay the credit card. I’m still playing catch-up because these buying opportunities keep falling into my lap when I think I’m already done. Last week I borrowed $1,500 from my 19 yr. old kid to grab 100,000 shares. I threw him a few thousand shares as “interest” til I pay him back next week.

Did the same thing. Still waiting though.

I never thought I’d be pissed off for a near 50% increase in 1 day

I’ve seen what it did earlier this year it went on a little run in Jan. all be it not this high this quick. Do you see a difference in this coming year and last year?
Posted on 12/31/18 at 8:59 pm to SWLA92
This year it should skyrocket. Last year was all speculation and small runs on news. This year they should actually become a fully functional company cranking out serious revenue. My guess is it starts heating up around the summer and by Q3 and Q4 are pumping out big revenue.
ETA: If that doesn’t happen, something went wrong with the gameplan.

It’s the new BUDZ or Aurora or Canopy Growth or CV Sciences or Cronos or Hexo or Aphria.

I see BUDZ was high at the beginning of 18 and just declined through the year was there a particular reason it did that?

No idea, I really haven’t followed any others closely besides LVVV.
The only thing I’ve noticed with virtually all of those that have had a meteoric rise is that they generally fall just as quickly. The lesson to be had is “stop loss”.
Outside of LVVV, I’m strictly an index fund kind of guy who would be happy with a 5% return. LVVV is an outlier for me.
Often the only thing worse than getting in too late is staying in too long.

What are the odds that the NYE rally on LVVV was a pump? Will we see a dump this week or next?

I was more surprised by the quick jump from .016 to .019 on the previous trading day (Friday) and the fact that it held up. Monday had significantly more volume than usual - almost 4 million shares, whereas it normally does a little over a million. Keep in mind that even in the 2s and 3s, it’s still very cheap. The stock had consolidated very well in the 4 range. But people get greedy with a huge dip - I mentioned myself how I was quibbling over tenths of a cent in the teens when I had previously bought a couple hundred thousand shares in the 4s. I just think the minute the teens dried up, people realized just how cheap this thing is and a little frenzy set in. The stock was way oversold, and a combination of market maker manipulation and tax selloff drove it far too low - which is easy to do on low volume. The only real news was the tweet about prepping the pod along with some clone photos (which was pretty vague regarding what is actually happening there), but the run upward had already started by the time that got around. I think people were expecting a little run after the dip and jumped on it quickly once it started a climb. People know that good news is coming on the 18th (in addition to the pending uplisting), so they know a run is coming. With that big news just around the corner, I don’t think many people will dump just yet. I’m guessing it levels out in the 2-3 range until then - though I won’t mind if it continues to climb and gives us a higher point to launch from in a few weeks.

Levels in the .02 - .03 range?
Posted on 1/2/19 at 9:22 am to jimjackandjose
Probably hangs around there until they announce the uplist or get the permit on Jan. 18th, then makes another little run. Would be nice to revisit .04-.05 before that date though. Pretty strong opening so far this morning on some decent volume.

Agreed. Could see a little more run before the announcement, then settle back down.
The first quarter reporting revenue should be significant.
Got to make sure if I have an opportunity to sell and buy back, it happens in next 3 months
