I agree.

One thing I’ve noticed about the handful I’ve seen that have exploded is that they skyrocket up then drop like a rock to around half that peak. Like they’ll go from pennies to $10 in a heartbeat, then drop back to $5 and level out.

And you will see me sell at least 50% of what I have then put a stop loss around $7.50

TLRY -the first weed ipo on nasdaq. This was a no brainer for me opening day. Sold 3/4 today to invest in others but letting the rest ride to the moon.

Planning to short TLRY and maybe CRON soon. Valuations are fricking insane.

I feel like I’m watching a redo of crypto in 2017.

Ugh I’ll never get over going from 13k to 56k in crypto and now im at like 8k... I can’t even look at this point. I would love to short some of these weed stocks so I can have money to invest in less volatile stocks.

Bought about 25 shares of CRON this summer. First stock I have ever bought. I'll see where it goes, but I'm brand new to this game.

Does anybody think there is any stocks in this sector that are worth buying currently? or are we already peaking and would it not be a good time to get in?

After reading Tigerrdad, I'll snag another 20,000 shares of LVVV. I wish I had bought CGC 6 months ago but after their investment from Constellation Brands, they arent slowing down anytime soon.

I have Fidelity as well and put the max shares per transaction (10k) as well. In the next few weeks I may buy an additional 40k shares. I'm not sure if it will get to $10 / share like Tigerrdad believes but hell if it even gets to a dollar, I am happy.

Anyone have any idea if I can buy it on the new chase investment Acct?

Stupid BofA has blocked it in my MerrillLynch Acct.

What did you put your limit order in at? I get sketched out on these penny stocks and their liquidity issues so i never know what to actually set the limit for. I definitely dont trust market order. I also just found out Fidelity had a max of 10k that is lame.

I bought a few weeks back at $0.039. I don't mind dropping $2500 on them. Like I said, if it even gets to a $1. I am a VERY happy man. It get's to $10/share, I am buying my first house straight cash.

LHSIF is under a $1.00 right now. Wonder if this is worth scooping up.

I'm not saying I believe it will necessarily hit $10 - I'm just saying that there have been other penny stocks in the industry that have done this, so it isn't out of the realm of possibility. I do, however, think it will at least hit several dollars in the next year or two. Some of the companies that shot up to the $10 range had far fewer shares outstanding, which obviously makes it easier to hit a higher price per share. However, Aurora had a similar amount of shares outstanding compared to Livewire (including restricted shares that will hit in a year or two) and Aurora went from pennies to over $10 in less than 18 months.

Like I said, everything hinges on their state license right now. California is cracking down big time on unlicensed companies (re: 1,500 busts like I mentioned), so Livewire isn't filling their temporary nursery in Coachella until they have their state license (already have Coachella city permit). Conversely, they can't get their Paso Robles city permit until after they get their state license. And they are just leasing out their greenhouse at another site until they get that state license as well. The city permit/state license situation is a clusterfrick right now, and they've been waiting patiently for a while (some investors are less patient - thus the occasional dips back into the 3s).

Once Livewire gets that license, things will move quickly since it will enable them to get other city permits and the revenue they generate from just the first temporary greenhouse will infuse a ton of capital to move forward with the next phases. And there has been promising news on the license front. Yesterday they tweeted modifications to make their temporary pod a fixed structure, which at least indicates they've had an initial inspection and were told what adjustments needed to be made. The licensing should not be far off now. I'm getting myself to 150,000 shares this week. The percentage gains possible on a $.04 share are just enormous. I'm doing my trading on TDAmeritrade, and there are no share limits per transaction that I know of.

Do you guys know if Fidelity charges me another commission fee of 4.95 on a partial fill that already executed... that i am now trying to replace so that it can fill at a higher price and not go into tomorrow where it will hit me with another commission fee?
