Just for fun, predict what year the S&P 500 will hit 10,000 or the DOW 75,000

I’ll try to remember to bump this thread in a few years.
I’ll say one will occur by 2030.

10k by 2030 isn’t at all unrealistic mathematically.

More importantly, imo, will stock valuations grow into themselves by the time the S&P500 reaches 10,000?
Current 12-month trailing avg P/E ratio for all stocks in the S&P 500 is 25-26, about 10 higher than same P/E avg the previous 10 years.
Prediction: Put me down for S&P500 avg P/E ratio to be exponentially higher than 2016-2026, whenever 10,000 is hit. Technology changes the world exponentially. The market will correspond.
New normal.

By my math, starting in july of 26, sp500 needs to average a little less than 10% annualized to get to 10,000 by 2030; that is it will need to perform slightly worse than the average over last decade for the next 3 and half years. Seems like a good over/under, id say it happens before jan 1 2030.
I could not care less what the dow is or is going to be. Its a completely irrelevant arbitrary number out there to me.
