Makes me feel small in this world with the 150 shares I bought a week ago.

Stay in if you can afford to lose the money. We’re at a huge risk huge reward zone. Either WKHS gets the contract and explodes, or it doesn’t get the contract and implodes

Not sure if this has been brought up yet. But current market cap is $2.96 billion. Contract is $8.1 billion. Not all of that money will go to WKHS, as WKHS will be paying its suppliers. Assuming a 50% valuation of the contract and assuming most of the current market cap is pricing in the contract, share price $38. Assuming 100% valuation, $76. Now if you give it the normal EV treatment as value it well past the possible revenues, sky’s the limit

10:00 am tomorrow is the Board of Governors news release. If the news is bad or if there is no news, plan your escape accordingly. As the stock will fall quickly.

In for 5 11/20c $30. They’re going to explode. Which direction is the hard part. Luckily it’s a very small overall position in regards to the total portfolio.

10am eastern time?
Also, all I see is the Kwanzaa stamp release scheduled for 11am eastern time. Is this what you were seeing? I can't find any mention of a board of governors press release or anything else other than that stamp release.

No! The Board of Governors meeting was on October 6th. The Sunshine Act enabled the meeting to be private. On October 13th , the results of the meeting will be made public. I will follow up with link, busy currently.

business journal daily
1hr 1min. Lordstown motors on the cusp of getting 800 million from the USPS contract.
He is the one who says it.
The incumbent, U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan, is seeking reelection to the seat. The Trumbull County Democrat was elected to Congress in 2002.
Not sure if this guy is truthful or not, he is a politician !

What is $30? I'm seeing WKHS at $26 and DPHC at $24?
Someone above talked about 350,000 shares at $30 also and I don't know what he's talking about specifically.

He bought $30 calls that expire on 11/20.
Not sure how much he paid for that yesterday but for every $1 above $30 he'll gross $500

Ok, showing my ignorance here but I've admitted it several times already and have never tried to indicate differently.
So that's what 'calls' and 'put's are? Calls for example, mean that he's 'calling' the shares to at some point in the next 37 days will be above $30 and when/if that happens, he'll gross $500 for each dollar above $30?
I've held off on asking this very basic question in these threads and plan on just researching it and finding the answer and not cluttering up the board with my basic, arithmetic level understanding of investing but you just gave a concrete answer on a stock I'm following so it seems like a decent time to ask. Is a Put the exact opposite?

However he can sell those calls between now and then if the stock is trending that way and make a profit. For example if you bought 09/23 $30 calls on Friday, you could have sold them yesterday for a 100% profit even though the stock itself went up under double digit.
