so missing 10 insanely ambitious projections by 1 year is being a failure???
LOL
the guy took tesla from 2000 cars a year a few years ago to 88,000 this past year and promises 500,000 next year, if he hits say 300,000 is that really a failure?
God you're unbelievable, I said show me promises he made that he 100% never met, not promises he met a little later than he promised.

I never used the word "promise". I said "projection".
If I project I will produce 10 lawn mowers in May and only produce 8, that is a missed projection.
Please try to keep up

Well to this point has Elon really failed his investors? Tesla has grown by leaps and bounds annually while he spent $0 on advertising. They pre-ordered 600k cars without $1 being spent on marketing, what happens when these cars hit the street? I bet over 50% of the country doesn't even know wtf a tesla model 3 is. When they find out that there's a $35k base car that requires no gas,oil changes, or service and is incredibly cool and gets tons of updates over the air, Im pretty sure there are gonna be a ton of people who wave goodbye to the plethora of mediocre cars built by big auto companies.

People are downvoting because they don't like you. It isn't more complicated than that.

dont like me, I dont give a shite, Im here trying to discuss investments. I could care less if a bunch of guys on a message board like me or dislike me, we're here to discuss matters.

You sure do seem to care if they downvote you.
Posted on 4/26/17 at 7:04 pm to iAmBatman
I really care more about the fact that idiots roam these boards, downvote and cant even take 2 seconds to give their own bullish or bearish stance. Take you for instance, you enter this thread, wasting moments of your life with what purpose in mind? You obviously don't care to discuss the long or short trade on tesla, so wouldn't your time be better spent elsewhere?
It's ok I can pull this thread up and laugh at you guys in a few years when its $1000+ and say well I tried to help you all, but too many of you were way too dense.

What do you think about all of the noise coming out from the workers actually making the cars? Where there is smoke there is typically fire, I personally think they will encounter all kinds of issues trying to meet the production goals they set.
With that said, it is obviously a company to own.

I agree tesla long term seems great, his other companies ride on its coat tales though. I don't follow it closely enough, but it takes some pretty dang good dips quite often.
It's the tech stock Apple was 2-3 years ago.
Serious question, why don't you own one DBF?

With all your money, you'd think you'd be able to afford a professional to talk to and discuss your insecurities.

Haha I fully plan on ordering one when my leased car that I use for work comes due next january. Its also quite annoying that Texas is so backwards that although we have 2 tesla showrooms in houston, you can't actually order one at either due to laws. You can go in, drive the car, and order it online, but not there in store.

Thanks for your valuable insight, I don't know if you get me yet in all my time on this board, but Im all business, I absolutely abhor stupidity and people who waste my time. That's why i get pissed off on here so much, its truly incredible how much dumb shite is spewed on these forums. Like I said, this thread was made for grownups who want to discuss the realities of what could be the greatest stock of the next decade, yet here you are crying like a little girl about issues that dont even relate to tesla.

From everything i've read to this point it seems hes offered them cash, stock, etc. He actually wrote the workers a letter and said tesla stock was a good deal and very cheap and he sees a 10 fold gain in the next 5-7 years. Im not really sure what the workers want, but they're not gonna derail the model 3 launch imo but you're right alot could go wrong, there is obviously risk but the reward is well worth it imo

If you expect people to be serious 100% of the time then you haven't gotten this whole internet thing figured out.
Posted on 4/26/17 at 7:16 pm to iAmBatman
dude no offense, but can you leave this thread? You've made 4 posts and added 0 value whatsoever, really, go do something else with your time, the rest of us are trying to have a decent discussion here.

can you at least be men about it
That would take you to be one and we all know you're incapable of doing that.
Posted on 4/26/17 at 7:19 pm to iAmBatman
LOL i wouldn't leave either, seemingly every stock I post on here seems to go over very well in the long term, I bet even with all your trolling you go buy tesla hand over fist tomorrow. Deep down you're not dumb enough to bet against me. Great I see Paul Allen is here to defend your honor.....can either of you discuss the topic with any substance? Hell even Rocket and I put our shite aside from the other thread and he agreed to discuss the name and made a valued post. You two are just embeciles

Who's to say I don't already own TSLA?
And you aren't some oracle picking winners out of nowhere. You're touting one of the fast growing companies of all time. Not exactly a sleeper pick.
