Thanks for the info. There won’t be a lot of people ever in my car. I do love Infiniti engines. I will ask about that spare tire. What the eff kind of crap is that? I used to have a G35 and absolutely loved it. It was a 2006 and it still looked like a newer car in 2013. Infiniti’s have a way of holding a newer car look. I’ve had a bmw the last 6 years and I definitely like Infiniti better.
Any way, I’ve looked at BoA and Capital One and they are showing 2.86 percent for financing. I’m just going to keep pressuring these guys. Get some clarification on warranty.

That VIN etch needs to go. Plus that doc fee should only be about $150.

The vin etching + document fee is absurd. That’s the dealership building in $1k margin on every deal
I circled those 2 immediately. They saw it. I will ask that they removed it. I don’t care about the registration fees. I would pay 2k to avoid the dmv

They can’t remove the doc fee....but they can lower price more to offset it. Doc fee must be same on every purchase from the dealership. They can’t charge one customer x amount and you y amount

Some dealers/brands will allow you both 0% and discounts
This should absolutely be the #1 option. Of course it depends on the resale of the brands/model.
Get a toyota/honda on 0% and some discounts. You are golden.

But...I was not a big fan of that car. Glad to get rid of it. Motor was great and it handled fine. The run flat tires absolutely suck. Bad. If you hit anything the sidewall will blow out. I had 3 blowouts in 2 years (replaced with non-run flats). It has no spare. It was also pretty cramped in the back seat, just slightly better than a coupe. Also insurance was ridiculously high for whatever reason. Geico told me it had a really high risk rating or something like that.
That’s a lot of flats. We’re you doing anything in particular? Bad roads, hit curbs? The turbo in this car is awesome. I asked him about the spare and he confirmed. Not sure how long they run once flat. They used to have a program you could sign up for where they replace flat or bad tires, but it was like 25 extra per month. Wasn’t worth it.

The APR they are quoting is 11% for 60 months based on 22K financed.

It’s around 28K sticker price (seems about right) . I’m putting 8k down
Put that 8k in TSNP tomorrow and buy the car outright next month

The down payment came straight from small cap wins that one week. I took plenty off the top of those. I am keeping money in them for more run ups I am expecting. I can pay off in huge chunks later.
So the consensus is to knock down the documentary fee of 650 to 150. Get rid of VIN TECH fee. Put pressure on to get interest rate below 3. I’m pre applied to my bank, BofA and Capital One. They can meet their rate or I use theirs. They should comply a little about those bs fees after they got caught trying to completely rip me off with a 480/mo payment. My god man.

True, but as you mentioned if the document fee is $500, just tell them you will pay $500 less, they will lower the price by $500 and add it as a doc fee.

I got a new 2020 suv recently and am paying right at 30k with no money down and an under 3 rate

I bought a 2016 q50 premium last March fully loaded. It even has the adaptive cruise control and lane departure Assist, which is hard to find. It had 26000 miles and I paid less than $24k.
A couple things: 1) If it has the 19 inch premium wheels, get the tire and wheel insurance. You will have lots of blowouts with run flats, and it will pay for itself fast. Or replace run flats with standard tires and get a spare tire kit for the trunk. 2) The infotainment system sucks arse. I got a joyeauto android module that I installed to get Apple CarPlay on the top screen. That is a total game changer.

What kind of interest should I be looking at. I’m thinking no more than 5%, maybe less
I just bought a used Rav 4 in October and financed 18k @2.9%.
I just refinanced through my credit union for 17k @2.75%.
In this market, anything over 4% is fricking robbery.

It’s got the 19in rims. My g35 years ago had the same. When I got that the rims had been scraped pretty good. You really have to be careful parking those things by curbs

Ask them about the vin etch fee. The car already has a vin etched into it. They should waive that completely unless that means something else.

I just got 3.25% on a 2019 truck with 7500 miles.

Yea, I’m watching some YT vids on the infotainment system and that is going to take some getting used to. I loved bmw’s. Kept it simple. This seems way more complicated than it needs to be
