Been with Liberty Mutual since the stone age recently got them to re evaluate my Homeowners policy and got a 40% reduction. But not on my vechicles. Dont understand why, as theres no kids at home, no accidents, no tickets.

Got a quote from Geico and it was super low on Auto about 60% less but I went on line and checked reviews of Geico and there are a lot of people not to happy with sudden rate increases and customer service.

Anybody here got a Geico story or real happy with present insurer I would appreciate some feedback.

I've been with liberty mutual forever and just had a 15% increase this year. Going to get mine reevaluated too.

They have been very good as far as paying claims.

Had geico for a few years. They were great. Had a limb fall on the car and they fixed everything no problem. Then the renewal came up and the premium went down.

Great to work with and would recommend. Unfortunately switched when adding homeowners as other insurers offered better bundled rates

Geico is unbelievably cheap right now. Mine was over 50% cheaper than Hanover (who I switched from). Couldn't find anyone else within $30/mo of them.

They won't give you the service or claims experience of one of the larger companies. They are a low cost insurance company and are run like one.

How minor? No other issues leading up to cancelling? Its so tempting but...

LM, GEICO, and AAA all offer super low initial rates.

Then, the second or third year, jack up rates.

It works for them and their model, but their business plan is not about long term relationships.

Did you just Liberty Mutual to request a re-evaluation or do you have to threaten to leave them to get this done?

We have had homeowners and auto for over 30 years with them. Would love a price reduction on homeowners!

I know they won't reduce our auto premium because my husband is accident prone.

I've had Geico for 8 years now for auto insurance, and I've never had a large rate increase. In Nola if that makes a difference.

I had a state farm policy for 40 years and decided to shop my auto with my two teen age drivers. No accidents. SAVED $2000.

I could not believe State Farm was screwing me so hard.

I gave my agent the opportunity to match it and she couldn't get close.

Shop it is my advice.
