Last night I came across as if I were on a high horse in my post shoving time > $ at him. My apologies.
Intent is from a good place. I promise. But is not always what is said but how it is said. My bad.
For all the young investors, never under value time. I did early on. Cant get it back. Enough on that.
Thank you, Bayoubengals88 for your rich contributions to MB. I hope that is a pun.

I can tell that you are coming from the right place.
You have a unique perspective on things as you are recently retired.
But I can promise you, I enjoy time and family. I only work 211 days per year :)
My personal hobbies are totally limited nowadays. It's stocks and bermuda grass. That's it! And I'm happy with it! So yes, I often research when the house is asleep. It's fun!
Consider yourself totally in the clear from where I stand.

To put it in perspective, a statistic heavy article on how people in the US on average spend over 7 hrs per day on screens (not working)

I sold AAPL in 1999 to go to the Greek isles for a law school summer abroad.
In 2005, I quit a job I was miraculously blessed to have gotten in the first place, to move to Montana.
At 51, I’m still walking the tightrope with poverty on one side and neglect of fullness of life on the other.
Eta: AI makes these calculations way too easy. F me. That $5000 of AAPL would be worth about a million. I should have found a way to get another credit card. lol.

I peed a little. Swap the teenage daughter for a 7 yo boy who acts like one.
