How should I allocate my 401k?

I have an employer 401k at Fidelity.
My current allocations are:
32% in Fidelity Contrafund
55% in NT S&P 500 Idx NL 4
5% in MFS Mid CP Growth CT
2.5% in NT Ext Mkt Idx NL 4
4.4% in TRP Retire 2035
I'm almost 50 and realistically will probably retire at 70. The majority of my money is in S&P Idx and the Fid Contrafund. Should I move the other money, which might be $20k in those other options(I basically stopped contributing to those, so that's what's just sitting there) to the S&P 500 Indx? Will that incur hefty fees that would not make it worth it?
I have 26 options. 13 of those are target year funds which I've learned here are not good.
3 of them are bond investment funds, which I'm assuming are for when I'm much closer to retirement age.
So that leaves me with 10 funds. Should I just put it all in the S&P index fund? I don't have VOO.
It's 3 large caps, 3 mid, 2 low and 2 Intl.
Please, any guidance is really appreciated

So a 20 year investment?

20 years, to me, would be all in lowest cost s&p index available

Consider moving all of it to Contrafund.
At the very least, get your 4.4% the hell out of TRP Retire 2035. Those targeted retirement date funds are trash.
If it were me, literally what I did 3 years ago: keep 1/3 of it in Contrafund, move the other 2/3 to Brokeragelink, learn how the market works, learn strategies and options, learn a couple things the hard way, and grow your retirement at a far better rate than any of those funds.

That could depend on how much he's saved thus far.

I would also look at the expense ratio of different funds. A dirty secret is that 401k and 403b plans can have large fees associated with them.

Are there fees or penalties to moving money from one fund to another?

No. You’d get a nastygram if you move money back and forth within a 30 day period, but no penalties for moving from one to another

I just did this with GrokAI and my 401k portfolio options with Vanguard. I rebalanced myself at least every 6 months...
Fidelity has similar options for funds. Just have to cross reference.
For the record I'm already in what it suggests and have done very well in returns. I also hope to be done in 20-23 years.
