Opportunity cost. You then have $100 less to put into a stock that you have a high level of confidence in.

I would love to know why Musk has enough interest in this to tweet about it. Clearly he knows it's trash, so is the whole thing just trolling? Entertainment for him? It's odd. But in doing what he's doing, he's going to cause a lot of people to lose a lot of money.

That's illegal. And he's too high profile to get away with it. Seems like risking jail time over something like this is stupid considering his net worth.
