How easy is it to transfer Bitcoin from Coinbase to US Bank accounts?

Is it quick?
One of my offshore bet accounts recommends doing this vs other payouts and I'm skeptical to the speed at which it will be transferred and my ability to transfer them to a US bank account.
It would suck to transfer $10K, watch bitcoin take a dump (like 10%+ today) before I could shift them out and lose that 10%+.

You would have to get verified by Coinbase which could take a few days before you can even make account

I've already set up a Coinbase account and had everything verified. I made a small withdrawal to test it but the withdrawal isn't immediate.
Bitcoin was at $5400 earlier today and is hovering around $4800-4900 now. It would suck to see a delay cost 10% like that.
ETA: Transfer just occurred and I have already lost 3% and it is still pending.

Holy shite you traded on the worst day of the year. That’s some shitty luck

Took a few days to end up in my account t last time I did it. But at a certain point the price was locked in.

I won't be using this feature moving forward. I can get a bank draft in 24 hours and don't have to worry about price drops.

Unless the US bank accepts bitcoin, you aren't transferring bitcoin at all.
If you mean selling bitcoing at Coinbase and having them deposit the dollar proceeds to a US bank, just ask them. Or find whatever subreddit you like and post the question there, surely others will have experience.

Once you transfer it will have to confirm on the chain which could take 15-60 minutes. After that you can sell for USD instantly on Coinbase. Then transfer to your bank account which should take 3-5 days.
I'd be more worried that Coinbase blocks the transfer from your gambling account.

Transfer from your gambling account to a private bitcoin wallet first, then to coinbase. Coinbase will block and deactivate any account it thinks is gambling or using btc for black market stuff like offshore pharmacies.
I had my coinbase account deactivated after transferring btc to an offshore poker site.

What wallet should I use for the same purpose?
I have a coinbase account that I have never done anything with. Bet site asking for bitcoin address. Way too much to go through in the big thread. I saw a couple talked about but didn’t know if there was a favorite of the board.

Any private wallet. Ethos, Voyager are good but any btc wallet will work that's private.

Transfer from sportbook to blockchain then send from blockchain to gdax.com (owned by Coinbase with way less fees)
The bitcoin will be in gdax. sell it and then transfer usd to your bank account from gdax

The "blockchain" is how btc gets mined/processed for a transfer. If you go direct from offshore gambling to gdax directly your account may be closed. Fair warning, happened to me

blockchain is a wallet. that's why i go from sportsbook to blockchain wallet then to gdax
