I've got a shite ton of my investments in the tech industry and a lot in the S&P so I guess the S&P is a tad more diversified. If the tech industry dies, I work until I'm 80

I'm retired and my wife is soon to be retired. Our financial advisor at Vanguard picked this mix. My wife's 401k is in the 2025 fund at Fidelity.

I'm just getting started so not diversified much.

AMZN
PWR
BITO
MSTY
SMCY
ULTY

Tried some penny gambles but struck out with those. I'm going to ride with dividends for now, but it's all really just gambling money.

I have a Vanguard S&P500 index fund I've had since I was 13 that my parents set me up with- 100k
I have a brokerage account I buy individual stocks with to kill boredom at work. just shite I see on seeking alpha or other places etc - 300k
I have my company 401k that is a target 2050 fund that they match 5% or whatever - take that free money - 90k
I have a money manager that has me in a diversified portfolio with the majority of my wealth bc I am too emotional w my investing so called in the experts - 500k
I have some physical gold - for emergencies - 30k
I have a separate Roth account w Fidelity I put 7k into a year just bc why not - 20k
Emergency Cash - 40k
So around a mil just and just hit 40. still a working stiff but better off than if I hadnt invested. slow and steady invest what you can, diversify and set yourself up for retirement. no big secret

Not much overall. Heavy crypto. Heavy Tech.

With that being said... my 401k, which isn't a big % (probably just under 15%) of my portfolio at this point is pretty much 100% total markets.
