We’re going to take a brutal bath this morning. If everyone holds we’ll be fine but I have little faith. Too many people like manicTDsnGumbo who jumped in after the GME spike hoping to make immediate quick money and a week wasn’t quick enough so they bailed and cried about it
Somebody knows what's up! Someone bought $2 million in $20 calls, yesterday.

I may have to go and adjust my limit order. My price point doesn't seem like it will be met at the open.

I hope it works out for you. Not that you asked, but that is one thing I try really hard to not do.I ask why I set it there and what has changed to make me want to chase/risk more? That's where FOMO takes over

If I'm wrong, then I'm wrong. All I know as of this morning is that many here and reddit were saying last week that it was going to start a rise on Thursday then pop on Friday. Instead it started falling on Thursday then didn't do jack shite Friday. Then the word was it was going to pop yesterday. Then yesterday the party line was that it is going to pop on Thursday.
I called it like I saw it so far and got out before I lost any more than I already did. I never had a large position anyway. If I'm wrong, then I'm wrong and a great number of posters here will have made a killing. I'll come congratulate y'all and eat my crow if that happens but so far, all this stock has done is disappoint me. I've never been a huge risk taker in the stock market before but the last few weeks gave me the quick-buck fever and the only thing I made money on was BB (thanks upperdecker

Good luck to you all and I'll still be following this thread because I'm honestly rooting for y'all.

Speaking of FOMO, I know this isn't a direct correlation, just food for thought. Last Thursday, there were 120K watchers of AMC on Stocktwits. Today, there is 178K. Tons of interest.
Also, IF, big IF, they keep the price artificially down today, SSR kicks in and they won't be able to short for 24 hours, which GREATLY works in our favor. They have to buy. They want to buy below their strike, and they use strategies like short ladder attacks/ naked shorting to get the price down. Meanwhile, they are paying enormous interest on their debt. Take away their shorting abililty, and now they don't have that tool.

Same here x 3. I own some BB but not a huge amount and I bought in at $9 so I'm still $5 profit/share range.
I bought a handful of Nokia because of FOMO and it's down a $1 but climbing slowly yesterday.
No AMC or GME and pretty thankful for that. It's been fun to watch but I'm not getting on that rollercoaster gambling wheel. I'll make myself sick if I buy $2k worth of stock and it tumbles to $500.

The volume this morning is already about 20% of yesterday's total

So educate me here. AMC has used this to essentially wipe out their debt ranging back to their purchases of a ton of independent chains. So at a min their position has completely turned around. It’s not like movies are going away, and Hollywood is going to virtue signal so long as it doesn’t decimate their pocket books forever. Going to the movies seems like a familiar activity that’s likely to find a place in American families desperately searching for some sense of normalcy.
So if I buy in at $9, even if this doesn’t “go to the moon”, isn’t there a good chance this company can get back to the $40/share range it was in pre-covid?
