If there is a significant short position being held and the price of AMC is going up, then by definition there is a short squeeze.

Honestly don’t know, asking.
Thought the close above $9 on Friday locked in the squeeze and they had between Friday until this Thursday to buy back in.

My understanding from various sources is AMC was not shorted over 100% like GME but it was up around the 70-80% range.
I've already said it is a gamble. I've already said I'm doing it for fun. You say I was "duped" but I could have sold this morning for a relatively large percentage gain.

I hear ya. I'm not actually trying to have fun as much as I am trying to make money. Hell I'd take having a terrible time if AMC hits 30. It is concerning that the stock seems range bound at 14-14.30 for the last hour which allows a portion of covering to happen. It seems like those who need to cover are not chasing it up the ladder as of now and are content to wait it out and buy when the retail investors lose interest, get worried, or see other opportunities.

I don't think we were duped. There was a play there but what we didn't expect was them to stop people from buying it. I am almost certain if they wouldn't have limited buying the price would be climbing pretty high.
