I was referring to them being locked out. It is complete bullshite and it is getting exposed

I haven't even mentioned transferring accounts. why would I tell someone to do that when I haven't even done so? no one is doing that in here

To be fair, I did it once but it was in response and context to a single poster not broad advice for the board. And I stand by my comment to that poster which was essentially this:

I'd welcome people to come into the thread and give sound advice on why it is a bad play. But saying it's FOMO and it's simply a bad idea is really just the contrarian side of pumping. Example- "hey guys this stock has $8 intrinsic value and you're buying up here isn't based on company fundamentals and once the majority of the shorts cover you could lose your arse. Here is where you can see what I'm talking about and this is what I based my opinion on." Then an intellectual debate could happen

What's the deal with the whining in here? It's killing the vibe.
Yes this is a speculative play. It is a gamble. People know this and if they didn't, they should by now. People are willing to lose money. How much they play is up to them.
I have <5% of my frequent trading account in AMC. I'm either going to lose a little money now, sell at 20x what I paid, or be caught holding the bag if we get a squeeze and don't get out fast enough. I don't really care as there is a collective point being made and it has been a blast being part of it.
AMC is still going strong. The battle is being fought. The price was up big this morning and is still up. This is why we held Friday and why I'm holding through this week too.
It looks like now we have to put a warning label on everything: This is not financial advice. Do not drink bleach. This hot coffee is hot.

Wheelr, thank you sir! People need to just mellow out and if they don't want to participate then don't but for the masses who do then let's do this! holding strong and if I had more settled cash I'd be buying the dips!

I’m not in that much money in the grand scheme of things... I’m in for the ride and the pure chance of it doing what GameStop did.
If this goes on into next week hovering at this price, I’m out and break even. If it dips, I’m out and lose a few dinners worth of money. However, if by some chance, it ramps up and gets in the hundreds, I’ll be ecstatic I was part of something fun.

Same here. Some folks here take this wayyyy too seriously. If it is leading to that much bickering they probably should stay out of it

It's already at 14. I think it goes down to around 11 or 12 then ends up at 13 and we'll all breathe a sigh of relief at 3:00 then watch after hours and speculate about tomorrow. And I'll still be down a good bit
