Adam Aron was just interviewed on CNBC. The big ideas he shared which will transform their business:
- Showing NFL games and UFC in theaters (apparently thinking they can supplant sports bars?)
- Issuing and accepting crypto (I'm not sure why anyone would do that at the movies)
- Some other non-movie related business that he wouldn't divulge but which is apparently being announced soon
- More movies being released soon (good luck overcoming the transition of first run movies to either all streaming or streaming and in theater)
He also spoke to having a huge war chest of cash that investors gave them.
So, super light on specifics and anything very meaningful or game changing. But I assume that will get the idiots all lathered up with excitement, and get the mother of all squeezes back on, probably "super soon" too.

Make no mistake about it, he doesn't regret not getting in AMC.. No, he actually prefers doubling down on being wrong. I do respect that he sticks to his conviction though.

So what’s the word on AMC? Been awful quite in here and I deleted my old Reddit so I haven’t been keeping up with it as much.

AMC and GME are gonna bleed down to much closer to "fair value" in this macro risk off environment. My guess is AMC is under $8 within 3-6 months.

The only way this drops down to those levels if shorts start covering and everyone immediately sells their shares. I don't see this getting below $20 for a long time.

Sep 30: $38.06
Dec 6: $28.55
Down 25% since your attempted dunk. What's the latest on the mother of all short squeezes? Or do we need to summon Grey Parrot to bring over the "can't miss indicators"?

That may be the case, but I cannot imagine they would happen over the holiday season, given they it’s usually a strong time of year for movies. If anything, I think it will spike, particularly since a marvel movie is about to premiere, one that has been highly anticipated to boot.

Dec 7 2020 -- $3.57
Dec 7 2021 -- $28.17 (up another $2 PM...$30)
See I can do that too. Up 708% on the year. I have made my initial investment back plus profit (yes realized profit). I also still hold 3436 shares and am up $100K. Even if this goes down to single digits I have lost nothing.
What about you? You seem to show up here with your "I told you so's" and your "Got cha's!" But you have been more wrong than right and all anyone here needs to do is look at your post.
You just come across as sour that you did not get into this play at the beginning of the year like many (millions) have done and are currently way up. Maybe it is time to re-think your approach.

I can’t speak for anyone else, but your last paragraph is the crux of my entire argument in this thread - people can hold all day, but there simply aren’t enough buyers at $10+ for everyone to exit their position. A lot of those people with gains on paper will go down with the ship eventually.
Smart of you to take big profits.
Eta- I will readily admit I woefully underestimated the patience people would have with AMC and GME. The stocks have peaked and are down 50%+, but people are still holding. That has surprised the hell out of me.

This is the dumbest thing I've read on this board to date. The same could be said for any stock if everyone were to try and exit at once. The same was said about Tesla for years, which I bet many people wish they didn't follow the fundamentals on.

The same cannot be said for every stock.

The people who want AMC @ $20 already own it. There is very little demand for the stock outside of the meme world. There is no hope for the company to grow into the valuation. It’s done. It’s over.

Is that a fact? Then why are there buyers right now at the $30 level?

So, everyone that owns AMC at $20, does so already, yet the people that bought at $60 are trying to average down, but not at the $20 mark as slackster stated, but at $30. The contradictions are epic.

That's very brave of you to say about a person you don't know. Again, I never personally attack ones character on this board. For you to do so, tells me that you are the sensitive one who gets butt hurt very quickly.
