Exactly. These are the people that know best and have picked up the ball and ran with it after they seen the numbers and mountains of data.

A news anchor would not know about seedy wall st and hedge fund tactics. That’s absolutely not their job. These are things that are not told to the media and are covered up by the hedge funds and wall st, essentially conspiracy theory

Please note that fails-to-deliver can occur for a number of reasons on both long and short sales. Therefore, fails-to-deliver are not necessarily the result of short selling, and are not evidence of abusive short selling or “naked” short selling
Huge factor to comprehend. Options are legal contracts. FTDs turn into synthetics theoretically.
*** edited the feds typo to the FTDs portion that was intended.

I agree, the Wall St professionals will have some knowledge of this stuff. But the Melissa Lee’s of the world will not

Trey’s Trades et al are in panic mode. Apparently consecutive down days are proof that apes are winning.

Normal news anchors would not,, correct.
But I will say it again. FINANCIAL news anchors should know basic trading theories. Quite literally their job is to be able to freely talk about the financial markets and current trading trends being futured on their programming.

Lulz. Mountains of hopes. The entire theory is based around this idea that the data is wrong.

They are hoping Shareholders (you and I) will vote yes to allow for the creation on more shares. They have included legally binding terms that this will not be an viable action by AMC until 2022. The fact is if the stock is overvalued whenever they see these proposed shares available to see. They could very well sell as a form of liquidity to provide for new growth, operational expense and lessening of liabilities. Yes share dilution typically hurts a stocks market value, but helps to aid its fundamental value.
I mean the financial value of the 25 million shares multiplied by current market valuation would knowingly dilute the shares. But this opens them up to a avenue of unloading a sustainable amount of their debt and cleaning up their balance sheet.. important to keep in mind. The amount will vary until this is actually approved and contracts wrote. If AMC does similar to GME, that could very well be 2.5 to 5 billion dollars of liquidity to tackle their debt.
Either way it's not planned yet. Not approved. And legally could not happen until 2022.

Naked short selling and synthetic shares is not a basic trading theory dude

You know I'm not very fond of youtuber vlogs. I would say 50% of AMC shareholders aren't either.

They do. Every day.

But short selling is. Naked short selling is illegal. They should have known that much prior to the start of the year if they deem theirself fit for financial news coverage.
The full extent of the situation would not be expected to be known. Simply the basics of the current trend.

Melissa Lee’s financial knowledge is not why she’s an anchor dude. She’s a journalist not an analyst. Just let it go man

I'm curious why our board MOASS conspiracy theorists have sided with AMC vs GME. As ridiculous as the theory is in general, it's much more likely for GME than AMC, and the GME believer community is significantly larger than the AMC community on reddit.

Probably because the cheaper entry point of AMC.
Posted on 6/5/21 at 12:56 pm to theOG
That was my guess, although at least one of them on here has claimed to have a large amount of money in AMC so share price shouldn't matter.

What are you baws expecting when the market opens Monday?

Honestly a gap down. Afternoon, AH was rough. Think it will test that last $36 bounce.

I have said it multiple times, and I will say it again. We may be acting like idiots out of joy and appear as seemingly fools, but we are indeed very calculated.
Welcome to the wide world of information!
That info is there, but many just choose to ignore it.

It’s pretty clear she’s just acknowledging the theory. It’s not an admission that it’s happening, nor would CNBC news anchors know about that stuff

Anyone with half a brain, can see that SHE IS AGREEING!
