You are correct... All the different videos and posts explaining how its possible, some of these variables are assumptions. Certainly believable assumptions which is why this to the moon exists.

i mean this is the first day of battle. I think we see another red day heading into the weekend. That would be great way to frick up some morale, would it not? I have always said this is only possible if the ape mentality and community is legit. I think it is. They are going to try and mind frick you for your shares. This is day one. Just prepare mentally what you are going to have to deal with as we reach uncharted waters with SPs.

There's another side of the equation for their theory to be right though - people (hedge funds) have to be forced to buy at ridiculous prices. They can hold all they want and not see that kind of price runup without buyers.

The "math" is based on the highly dubious assumption that there are hundreds of millions of fake shares, and that hedge funds have heavily, heavily shorted AMC. This isn't a GME situation where the stock was heavily shorted to begin with, so idk how they think this is going to work.

They don’t have many left to offer. Seriously. I believe they’re at 514MM shares or so outstanding now and they only have 524MM authorized. That whole bit about the 500MM shares being a deke to shorts is likely bologna - they’re almost certainly going to broach the subject again.

Didn’t say it was impossible, just said it’s likely incorrect. I believe they took it off the table so they could milk the remaining authorized shares for all they’re worth.

They’re still going to need them. Their outstanding shares as a percentage of authorized shares are like 95%+ at worst, if not more. That’s basically unheard of in the world of public corporate balance sheets.

ETA- just listened to the Aron interview. There are only 46k shares left of the authorized shares they could issue. They’re asking for another 25MM to be authorized in their proxy vote.
