General Lee, Cad, Pitt, Tigerdog. You all may be correct about the sand/shale thing but YOUR WRONG ABOUT THE LEASE MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the current offer is 10,200/25%--------That I know for a fact. That is a far cry from 200-500dollars. I now have to be sceptacle about your posts. I know, you now want me to tell you what operator and what(S,T,R), well unfortunatly I can't say. But pitt knows where i'm at so I didn't tell you that either. Oh and go ahead and bash me for not providing facts as I laugh in the background! No hard feelings I now stand with FLOP!

Sounds like the group looked at it and found it is a sand up there and did not wanna drop a few hundred million dollars. I sure hate it if that happens to the PD folks, I was hoping those people would get some free money. I know they were supposed to throw out some figures this week.

Well good luck to the group wasting their money, if they end up actually taking any leases. Be skeptical if you want, but the land up there isn't worth more than $150-$500 per acre even if somebody is willing to waste money. No Haynesville shale will be found productive north of PD. I'm sorry to say it as it would benefit me personally, but well logs and data show pretty conclusively it's not going to happen.

Man, if they find the Haynesville Shale in the Ida area, my grandfather is going to have a heart attack. He owned a large amount of land in that area that he let my dumb arse uncle over see and my uncle went behind his back and sold it all. My grandfather was already mad that he sold the land, but he'd probably have a heart attack if they found the shale up there. Luckily for my uncle and my grandfather, from reading these posts it sounds like it's not located in the Ida area. Grandpa is still pissed though.

I love it! The funny thing is that no one will say what company is interested in PD...I moved here with my husband bout 4 years ago. I dont really know anyone from this little town(not up on the town gossip) but I've been trying to find out what is going on with this HS talk. And yes, FREE $ would be nice...feeling kind of doubtful though..... P.S. can anyone tell me what eating crow means or this blackbird pie lol I dont get it!
