It's actually $8,000 tax credit if you have not owned a primary residence within the last 3years. Not sure on the friend thing.Their is a recapture part on the interest free part but you will have to consult your cpa on that. If i rember correctly this program may expire like December 1st of this year. Hope this helps.
Longhorns! Only because they spanked USC in NC when they where supposed to be unbeatable.
For what its worth the City of Shreveport is working to move to cng city vehichles at some point soon. They I understand are working with local chamber of commerce to push for incentives for fill stations to hopefully increase demand. I know meetings have taken place within the last few weeks.
Rivers what ever happened to our HS in Plain Dealing thread. I hear some activity taking place across the line and the river?

Wow  I'm with ya im not in that boat or recomend that holding out thing for eternity as getting a producing well in that area would be of greater importance in my eyes as well.

Hey General not taking a shot but those public sites we both know are way behind the curve and do not have up to date info. Yes PD probably does not have HAYNESVILLE SHALE and yes dinardoodoo call it backtracking or whatever but bottom line land owners around there will eventually see more than 250-500. SOME HAVE ALREADY SEEN MORE!!! I'm not the o&G employee others here are.

Now thats a post worth reading! Thank you
The constant negative wears ya down. I as well heard of a deeper depths yesterday than I have heard previously mentioned on this board or on sonris that I could see. I was also told of two thickness measurements at different locations being between 190 and 200 both east and west of plain dealing. That i can't confirm.

I'm back with my truck! Ok there may not be HAYNSVILLE SHALE. But i'm wondering if you would define what Haynesville Shale is specifically(depth Range). Then state that their isn't another zone of shale below the cv at all! Also all who post state your position o&g employee, land owner only, or both. I will go first: LAND OWNER ONLY!

Flop you got me confused with someone else i never disagreed with you! I simply disagreed with the statement by some that plain dealing area would never gain more than 250-500 per acre based on recent activity. Before that I had no idea as i'm not in the business but simply a land owner. I'm simply trying to find the facts like everyone else. The more i research the more I find conflicting information. For example Pitt, Tiger and Cad unequivacoly say there is no shale in PD based on logs, info and 2wells(sampson,JW). They I believe are in the business in some fashion so they may know something. However I talk to other people in the business who tell me that is not completly acurate. I could go deeper why I side with you on your assumtion with no facts but the acuracy of all of this is bottom line when the pen hits the paper or the bit hits the shale! The only thing i know for sure is that pitt, tiger, and cad are WRONG on lease amounts. I would love to see all the logs, well data, cores, etc, etc, etc but some of that is sacred stuff. The kinda stuff that causes companies to buyout others, sneak around under other names and do things us common folk wont catch on to quickly if ever or understand. SOMETIMES THE LEFT HAND DOESN"T KNOW WHT THE RIGHT HAND IS DOING. Oh yea I know SONRIS, its all public nothing to hide. PLEASE
Flop look I stand with ya not against you. I may have to eat crow but bottom line my lease wont be 250-500.
sorry for the rant but ya touched a nerve. :spank:

General Lee, Cad, Pitt, Tigerdog. You all may be correct about the sand/shale thing but YOUR WRONG ABOUT THE LEASE MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the current offer is 10,200/25%--------That I know for a fact. That is a far cry from 200-500dollars. I now have to be sceptacle about your posts. I know, you now want me to tell you what operator and what(S,T,R), well unfortunatly I can't say. But pitt knows where i'm at so I didn't tell you that either. Oh and go ahead and bash me for not providing facts as I laugh in the background! No hard feelings I now stand with FLOP! :nana:

But wasn't all of the Crystal wells vertical? and or would horizantal drilling afect the productivity?
Ok i was informed of a meeting at plain dealing high school gym on saturday at 6:pm with reps from chesapeak and petrohawk! Can anyone else confirm this? Pittboss, tiger is this true? I was also informed of a larger land lease deal up in that area in the vacinity of 15,000acre/25% has anyone heard of this?

Pittboss you know who I am and where I am up there. As far as the company I don't know, but the land owners reviewing the offers, I do know! I was asked if this would be a number that I would accept. I'm not disputing you and tigerdogs assertion that there is no shale. I believe what you say is correct. However the new activity is real and is happening now. I heard that thumper trucks, where running seizmick on the arkansa line, north in the river bottom, what do you know of this?
