I think he believes it was still fundamentally undervalued at that price.

I just saw that $GME has had over a billion trades this month. That is nuts for a stock that only has about 300 million shares and a much smaller free float.

But, those of you who want to think it is just a normal "meme" stock and this means nothing, shrug.

You might be right.

Why did you not sell when it reached around $60?

It actually got to 80 pre-market.

I am going long on this and believe in the investment. I admit, I thought about selling a few ... and then hoping to buy back in if (it did) drop, but I missed that. One of my kids picked up some extra shares doing it.

I am not much of a day trader, but I just buy and hold. I am boring.

$GME announces the closed share offering and secured $933 million bringing their cash to ~ 2 billion.

They might invest or might make an acquisition. Stock price has jumped AH

In addition, some whale has been buying hundreds of thousands of 20 dollar calls.expiring next month. Here is one;

One theory on the calls is that EBS might be trying to get out of the Credit Suisse / Archegos shorts that they have been bag holding. Basically, first mega shorter out loses less.

I'm sorry but I just don't buy this. Short squeezes are rare occurrences, and I don't see hedge funds shorting this thing that much again knowing the emotional ties to it.

Seems like I was correct on what's going on.

It probably wasn’t a short squeeze though.

Just checked out the Reddit thread…now the question is how he gets the cash to exercise the options. Who knows what the stock does with his live stream tomorrow at noon.

If I had to bet now, I would assume he becomes a billionaire tomorrow.

I haven’t been following this closely but is there a reason he can’t just sell the calls and roll out to Jan or something?

This has been officially my best stock trading day experience ever. I am now firmly positioned on retirement funds right now. The days of investing in AT's stock choices seem like an eternity ago.

GME just hit $60 a share After Hours and is headed upwards like an Elon Musk Rocket.
