XOM…but an index fund like DRLL is your best bet.

Did you read the question? He's looking for big upside potential to double quick (high risk). Pretty much opposite of XOM or index funds (among equity investments).
Long term buy and hold I'm all for index funds.

SOXL, TQQQ, UPRO and XLE. These are leveraged funds, not really meant for buy and hold, but I do and they make a killing if you pick the right entry points.
