What does this picture even mean?
SBF and pals spent most of the missing money through straight embezzlement, the rest a large majority (7.3B) has been recovered by the current FTX leadership. That money will be issued to former customers and creditors.

His lawyers requested like 5 years
THAT would have been a weak sentence.
This went from "he won't be prosecuted" to "they will fake a prosecution and drop it after indictment" to "they will purposefully not convict him at trial" to "they will give him probation" to "they will give him a light sentence" to "25 years in jail is a light sentence".
