If tweet fails to load, click here. Positioned in a lovely geographical part of the datacenter heatmap too - Virginia. VA has the highest concentration of datacenters in the country.

Today’s chart.
Will be keeping an eye on this one moving forward. Let me know if anyone had a position in this prior to this thread.
Unsure of entry price / need to do more extensive research but if it’s truly as similar to $BE as I think, this could be interesting.

I owned about $1000 of this 20 years ago. It didn't move for years, so I sold it after about 5 years

FCEL and PLUG both good options to have secondary potential on data center power
BE and BW absolutely ripped over past year on data center power. BW sells gas turbines

Today has been a time traveling day for sure on this board. Doesn't mean it is a bad thing but this is the past decades greatest pumps being rolled out.

If tweet fails to load, click here. 50 min deep dive on $FCEL

This is the same space as BLDP.
I caught wind of this today as well and thought about splitting my fuel cell investment.
I haven’t yet.
I may sell BLDP calls to scale into FCEL, but I haven’t done the research yet.

I am watching the 50 min deep dive now and hope to be able to provide an investment thesis when I’m done.
Go check the volume candle I posted in OUST thread - I am smelling more positive momentum tomorrow.

That may have been dark pool or some kind of end of the day settlement.
Regardless, close over $35 is bullish AF.
I’ll watch the video tonight

So assuming this is legit in terms of what was found - yeah this is a pretty big deal and I would think much more significant than Ballard (unless again I am misreading Ballard where its product with Vertiv is simply a KW level backup they hope to get into Mw). That is not providing the main power source for anything.
This suggests actual generation of a material amount (ie like a Bloom).
God it is hard to chase these names though - but I definitely want to look more at this

Wouldn’t be surprised to see regulatory requirements for fuel cell power for data centers due to the noise complaints related to gas turbines.
From the 50 min deep dive video:
- Gas turbines (alternative power source to fuel cells) sold out through 2030, so strong demand is there for fuel cells.
- In a hotbed area (Virginia - see datacenter heat map posted earlier)
- Hyperscalers want to get to 40 GW of power within USA for datacenters. Current energy infrastructure has legitimately no chance of supporting that, plus it puts an undue economic burden on local residents. Fuel cells generate power from within.
- Think of it like this: the local residents invite you to a drinking party but the ticket to get in is BYOP (bring-your-own-power)
- This limits the noise complaints and water requirements, a true win-win for big business & residents simultaneously.
- Otherwise, local residents have a much larger case for opposing new datacenters in their areas - specifically those planned to be powered by gas turbines.
Last note: According to 50 min deep dive video, this is the only other public ticker specializing in fuel cell production besides Bloom Energy ($BE) that has a verifiable datacenter contract. Bloom is a $80B market cap, and this stock is a $1.4B market cap as of last closing price.

I sold 6 puts in BLDP today.
I’ll probably load FCEL LEAPS tomorrow after buying back.

Any you are looking at in particular? I’m starting to think this might be a big winner.
I implore you to skip to around 22 mins left in deep dive video where the options activity was discussed. A large whale piled over 20k contracts around $30 & $32 strike prices for 6/18 calls.

That’s bullish.
I’d opt for much more conservative options.
$30 October maybe.
$40 2028s
