If they file jointly, yeah that's true.
But even if she is getting 30% taken off the top, she's still better off working than trying to game the system with UI, side jobs, fraud and tax evasion.

Fair enough. I can agree with that.
I think there were definitely people who held out for high paying jobs that weren't coming back.
