Blaming Biden is such a low IQ move.

Eta: I look forward to the discussion of why Biden is to blame for the downturn but had nothing to do with the 27% S&P 500 return in 2021…

Well, that’s pretty simple. Policy doesn’t change overnight. Now that he has been in office a while people are understanding what an absolute disaster he is and will be for the next 3 years. Three more years of this. That’s right, this clown has done thus much damage in just one extremely long and tiresome year.

I wish biden would do something cool like start a civil war or a hot nuke war with china rather than just crashing the stock market

What specifically can you point to that he’s done to cause the market to go down?

I voted for Trump twice, but people that think the Nasdaq in correction territory has jack shite to do with Biden are fricking clueless.

The S&P 500 hit all time highs less than 3 weeks ago, but sure, everyone is just now realizing Biden sucks.

Where are our governmentgfs?

Why can’t I get food stamps?

Why is the stock market going down?

These are all clearly failures of the Biden administration that he has to answer for

I am as anti Biden as anyone but I agree with this to be true as well.

High P/E long duration stocks were way overpriced. I think the long overdue correction is finally taking place.

Figured a boomer would think the president is to blame. You’ve Probably avoided the 200%+ return under Obama and the 18% return we’ve seen under Biden though.

In no way do the Biden policies help the economy, but you also can’t point to much he’s done to hurt it either.

Regardless, I hope you and yours continue to sell out of stocks and go into cash or bonds in this inflationary environment. My future portfolio thanks you for the stupidity.

You’re a maniac but we agree about the mechanics of the market at least. When the Fed reversed course, the market was going to correct. The political party of the president is completely irrelevant.

When you push multiple Trillion dollar govt give away bills, stock markets get flooded with money.

That was democratic policy driving that and why inflation is out of control and the fed must react.

So stocks went up because of Dems and now are down because of Dems? So we would have been better off with just a slow 7% growth rather than the up and down 18% growth we’ve had thus far?

It’s a shame that a place like the Money Talk is so light on facts and heavy on emotion.
