You can't fight the Fed.
A lot of investors, even professionals, have zero experience investing in a rising rate inflationary environment.
If they really want to fight inflation, rates need to go much higher.
Of course how do you raise rates significantly if you have 30 trillion in debt to finance.
They've been running up debt and kicking the can down the road since 2009.
The inflation/debt sh*tshow that people have been saying is coming is finally coming to fruition.
Either rates are going much higher and assets and the economy are going to implode, or we are going to have perpetual inflation.

They're on vacation and got out of the market around Feb.

Raise rates too much and your interest payments on your debt will be a massive problem. Don't raise rates enough and inflation persists.

Did something happen? All I saw was the coverage for the unarmed insurrection.
Corrections are a good thing.

I wish y’all would’ve just let Hillary win so we weren’t being punished like this
Hillary was just gonna let us straight Christian males live in peace but y’all had to have your mean tweets and Joe Biden is gonna send us to the fema camp where we gotta drag queen pole dance til our feet fall off

Bingo, of course it’ll take some time for current debt to roll off and renew. BUT if you were to renew all the debt we have at just 2% higher rates then it would cost more to service the national debt than it would to fund our military.
