Might have sold my swing shares prematurely

I'm curious what everyone's sell strategy will be once this thing does take off.
Since this is my truck fund money, as soon as I can pay cash for a 2022 Tundra it's getting sold. My shares hit 1 year between this September and next January.

Well, just curious, what’s it need to hit for you to be sportin new wheels?

For a 60k truck, I need $6.60. My trade in will cover the cap gains and TTL.

Trading an appreciating asset for a depreciating one... the American way!

I understand where you are coming from, but I have a 401k/Roth/HSA/529.
This one is for fun. I'll be happy turning 19k into a new tundra and no note.

Not getting new wheels, but we are about to build a house. I will use this $ in a few years to really pay it down and set myself up for retirement at 55.

Can’t you get a zero percent interest for just about every new vehicle?

Yeah, with how cheap money is right now, it makes no sense to pay cash for a vehicle. Keep as much of it working for you as you can.

Nah. Cyber Truck is the way to go with lithium money. And it's bulletproof.
I'll charge it with my diesel generator.

I don't think they haggle much on price if you do 0%. It's built into the price.

quote:They arent haggling on the price for any truck. Ill be damned if I take out investments making 12% to pay cash for a truck and keep from paying significantly lower or no interest on a rate to save a couple thousand on a purchase.

Over 4 years 60k could produce alot of income.

No better feeling than a paid off house or truck.

Missed the anniversary of this thread about a week ago, btw.
Not out of the realm of possibility we have another 333.33% run up from here a year from today. That would put us just atop $12 which funny enough was my price target for next year when we were throwing those around a while back
