CIIW, I took it as he was strictly referencing the 225m grant.

They can't sell anything until royalties are set. Everything has to be reinjected minus the few tons they've used for testing. None can be sold. I don't think there is any question that they can or are doing it, now it's whether or not they can scale it up and do it in a profitable manner.

SLI thread near the bottom of the second page. Guess the trill is gone.

I'm down from 40k to 2k shares just for old times sake. Getting in early, that's near a wash given many months of fully paid lending from $1k to >$2k per month.

Auburn, I’m down to fewer shares than I thought was my “floor” here. I just don’t see gains holding from a royalty decision (confirmed to be heard again in April) or ETx report. Plenty of time til EOY when financing would be coming, but which will include dilution (yay)

Not sure what to expect from an event like this, but I wouldn’t guess anything material

Maybe the community meeting will move some of the land owner hold-outs a little closer. The way this is dragging out their dreams could wither on the vine.

Perhaps, there can be a kind of interim royalty set for a few years because until they actually produce there is a lot of guessing and assumption in the mix.

Or maybe SLI just moves to Texas.

Seeking Alpha author initiating position

quote:

Summary
I am bullish on Standard Lithium due to its high-quality assets, low operating costs, and significant upside potential once production starts in 2026.
SLI's strategic location in the Smackover formation and partnerships with Equinor and Koch Industries enhance its growth prospects and reduce risk.
Despite current stock volatility, long-term demand for lithium, driven by EVs and clean technology, presents a near once-in-a-lifetime investment opportunity.
SLI's projected revenues and operating margins, based on long-term lithium price forecasts, suggest it is undervalued and could be a multi-bagger by 2030.

This sentence makes me want to laugh, vomit, and remain hopeful at the same time

I'm in this for the long haul but seeing the year 2030 thrown out was surreal.

The whole "once productions starts in 2026" has me feeling the same way. I just dont see it happening with all the royalty squabbling

I've commented on that article so the author will hopefully correct his 2026 production statements. He's working with outdated info as though Phase 1A is still set to be the first project online. Hard to blame him though, since the 1/15/25 PR was the first time they explicitly said that SWA will be their first commercial project. And SWA isn't expected online until 2028 (Jan Management Presentation)

That could be very risky and they may find themselves with a less favorable number than continuing the fight with the other major players there as one group.

Found a free article that talks about yesterday’s meeting
LINK

-We should see their new royalty application within the next 6 months lol
-First production now expected mid 2028 lol

Hopefully Equinor has taught them to underpromise so they can overdeliver for once. But let’s just prepare for it now, 2029 first production will be subtly revealed soon enough.

Sounding like producers think they’ll be getting different royalties for different areas

STAMPS -- Partners in a joint venture to produce lithium south of Lewisville will ask the state to set a royalty rate for their project, separate from negotiations under way by other potential lithium producers, property owners and the Arkansas Oil and Gas Commission.
