Maybe the ElDorado hall of fame. Need to schedule a visit in advance to make sure someone will answer the door

Had a small SLI order fill this morning. Now that Mintak is gone, think I'll try to start accumulating again.

Just seems like we've been stuck in a very long rut.

Another strong close on high volume. If the macro environment and lithium prices weren't dragging arse we might be much higher.

I'm tempted, but am waiting for the market to really take a shite and see what deals are out there.

Holding unless we go under a buck then I’ll add a few grand. That will help my avg quite. A bit.

Hoping it all takes a big dump. We're waaay overdue and I'm about to be flush with cash once the wife finishes selling her business in a couple of weeks and a few other things that'll pad my cash stack.

Has anyone swagged a buyout range lately?

I think that’s more likely with the recent Bidening of mintak.

I would hope it'd be more than Koch paid to get in. I'd do quite well with that price. I don't think we see an acquisition until the lithium market rebounds and we get production. These mf'ers better not let it go too cheap. Too many locals holding. Their shite would stay inoperable.

Ended today at $1.09. Hard to tell why given all the stock market noise.

I think it makes sense that if a buyout happens, it's pretty much where Koch originally bought in. If that's the case then this would still be worth all the disappointment and delays. But not if I hadn't averaged down.

Definitely makes it worth it at Koch level but why would you think that's what the buyout would be at? I was in Tellurian and it was beat down like this SLI and the buyout was way below what the company was worth. I understand that SLI is in a stronger position, but $1.30-$7.00 would be a huge leap. SLI would need to get to $5 or $6 just on it's own to get a $7 buyout right?

Maybe I'm way off, but I don't want a buyout anytime soon. Would love to hear that I'm wrong though, so please share your thoughts.

Thanks

Albemarle almost acquired Liontown Resources last year for a 100% premium until Liontown shareholders were rescued by a rich Australian investor who bought enough shares to block that deal. That 100% premium would have us bought out at $2.30, and I would cry.

FWIW here's my current perspective, based on some very conservative edits to Standard's own SWA Discounted Cash Flow model:

Assuming the royalty ends up being 10% (crazy high)
Assuming they sell lithium carbonate for only $20k for all 20 years (low)
Assuming $0 in grant funding (who knows)
Assuming Phase 1A is skipped altogether
Assuming East Texas falls into a sinkhole and is worthless

Under those wacky conditions, the intrinsic value is still $3.44.

What's it look like with realistically conservative numbers?

I was hoping the value of sli’s leases would exceed the 3.44 figure.
