re: Diving deeper on Standard Lithium?

If they dilute to 200M shares (which seems like a reasonable estimate if they use the full $50M available) and convince someone that their current NPV projections are reasonable and attainable, that would make them worth $26.36/share before setting a foot in Texas.
In the meantime, I'm pretty discouraged that IR has ignored me for a month and that SLI is mentioned nowhere in the 14 current applications for next Tuesday's hearing. Has anyone else heard from them?

Something must be afoot. I wonder if that is a bad thing or a good thing.

Down 5% premarket.
If you've been waiting for sub dollar to buy, get your trigger finger ready. Might get it today.

Is there any reason to be a buyer here? Or do we just need to wait and see where the royalty roulette wheel lands?

At least for the demo plant, have not the royalties already been paid on the brine by Lanxess? Or are they just paying royalties on bromine?

Lanxess is only paying the royalty on bromine. Landowners will be making two separate royalties on the same gallon of brine once lithium is decided.
To the poster above, I'm buying more here while trying to get to a certain number of shares, but I wouldn't advise my family/friends to buy until the royalty is out the way. Since it would still be a good price (doubt the royalty will be a massive catalyst) then with less risk

Well I was on the AOGC website today and bring bad news.
Under the Hearing Agenda section, there is a file named "April 2024 Agenda Final.Pdf" and that final agenda does not include a royalty decision. It shows Standard's dismissed application, but no replacement for it. No wonder they won't answer investor inquiries. Man...

I bet its bc those ole Exxon boys threw a brick through Mintak's window while he was sleeping. The note said "we dont take too kindly to your type 'round here"

Nope none.
Now that I think about it, some things stand out from the last PR about the commercial-scale DLE column that make the royalty moot for now
-they called it the final de-risking step
-the subtitle of the PR explicitly gives 6 months to test it
-they expected to ramp it end of March
The “de-risking” part makes me think that 6 months of column testing is essential before anyone will finance construction.
Before, I thought that the royalty was the only holdup on FID, but now I think this “last derisking” step is effectively a holdup in itself.
Tldr-expect them to test the commercial DLE column from Apr-Sep before announcing anything big about financing. (Also no royalty rush until then)

Also, Mintak said in the last ER that they're expecting to hear back about the "larger grants" by the end of summer. That's another reason that an April royalty wouldn't have helped speed things along. So
1. Grants known by end of summer
2. Commercial-scale DLE column tested (derisked) by September
3. Royalty sometime between now and September
4. Profit

I wondering how low this will go...
SLI has been strangely silent on PR for a while now.

A part of me has this bullish theory that Telescope Innovations’ breakthrough in January creates such an efficient DLE process that some of Koch’s pretreatment steps are no longer necessary so Standard is having to renegotiate their license with Koch and negotiate a license with Telescope.
I mean, Standard was paying Telescope for that research, Telescope delivered on it, and it’s only applicable to Phase 1A (carbonate).
So unless they decide to change the SWA project from hydroxide to carbonate, they need to use Telescope’s new tech for the first project.

Now theyll dilute with a gazillion shares

Folks that has been asking for more proof the tech works, does this latest PR satisfy that? Sounds like the info in the PR was validated by an independent third party.

Hmmm. That's the first really good PR i've seen in quite some time. Good Job SLI.
