re: Diving deeper on Standard Lithium?

I sure hope so. In the meantime they’re authorized to dilute by $50M and have so far (as of Dec 31, so probably more by now) used about $3M of that. Glad they haven’t had to halt operations due to low lithium prices at least
Eta Earnings report also says that they've concluded drilling in East Texas. I think they had until November of this year to exercise those Cass County options to lease

Usually how it goes for me, too
BTW - I rode this turd from $0.70s to $12 and back to present, unfortunately adding to my position. Was up $60K at one point
Man, I rarely look at this thread anymore but continue to be surprised at how this played out for so many. I got in late at $2.12 and after after it spiked into the 12's and then dropped back into the 11's I said f it I'm selling. Made over $50k tax free using loss carry forward offsets. Maybe being retired has made me more loss averse.

What is it? Pigs get fed and hogs get slaughtered?

It’s crazy that this thread has been going for almost 4 years and there’s still no real timetable for revenue, much less profitability. What a massive waste of time and money.

What cracks me up is all the time and energy spent pushing this turd when you could have bought almost any other S&P 500 stock or tech stock in the last 3 years and probably quadrupled what was invested here. I think the only people invested in this stock are the people on this board.

Not sure you really understand how pre-revenue, start up, speculative investing works. It's called diversification.
Being invested in this (or any startup) doesn't mean one has inherently missed out on the rest of the stock market. It's not "pick one and ride with it".
I've got a chunk of change in this, yes, but it isn't even on the same order of magnitude as my lower risk, actual retirement investments.
Not to mention, "in the last 3 years" SLI had a massive run of 400%+. I made a lot of money on that. Way more than if I had just parked the original investment in the S&P 500 and sat on it.
Also:

Please show me all of these S&P500 stocks that have quadrupled in the last 3 years.

Too bad they didn't pay better attention to the stock prices and had to do this when the price was under $2.

Really Guy? IF you owned NVDA,LLY and many others you have watched these ROCKET in the last few years. Three years later which would you currently be in ? This Turd or say NVDA or LLY? Glad you made money off of this but many got taken to the cleaners because of this thread.

Haha, okay “guy”.
You have two examples of stocks that have done really well in the past 3 years out of 500. That definitely equates to “almost any S&P 500 stock”.
And I do own a fair bit of NVDA.
As I said, owning one stock does not preclude you from owning other stocks.
Calm down, buddy. If you’re that mad about it, you probably can’t afford to play this game anyway. Shouldn’t have put the mortgage on red.

You asked for examples i gave you some. There are many more in that 500 and then you go on the defensive. You made your money pumping a stock that will be out of business in the next year or two congrats.

2 out of 500 is not “almost any”. That’s 0.4%.
It’s clear the quality of investor I’m talking to, and it’s not worth the time.
Best of luck.

What's with the bitterness? Apparently you learned something from this thread. Why play in prerevenue when you could easily just have bought a couple of the best performing stocks in the sp500 and held?

Salt lake to be mined for lithium- Lilac
The further we go, the more I feel that SLI's moat was greatly oversold. I'd love to move on to something else but I bit into the sales pitch hook line and sinker and am committed for awhile.

That's why I started selling mine at $12.90, and I was clear and open with the board about it.
If it makes you feel better, I'm down about 70% on my reinvestment in SLI.
We went from $.51 to $12.90. I started at $.37. Went from OTC to listed on the NYSE. Sorry you missed the ride. I hoping to ride it up again, but no...I am not as confident as I once was, but haven't given up enough to bail and eat a $200k loss and my second spin of the wheel of misfortune.

Just listened to their first conference call. Mostly a review but an analyst asked what the scale of East TX will be and was told that it isn’t public info yet but “Many X of SWA” and the first report on it is expected by the end of this calendar year. Which is nice because the one thing I trust they can do is secure a resource
Eta Their East TX footprint must be much larger than the 25k+ acres that we know about in Cass County, since that alone is roughly equal to SWA acreage

From a pay site yesterday, regarding royalty decision
“Lanxess and Arkansas Lithium appeared before the Oil & Gas Commission and met most of the requirements of the commission except for one. So the matter has been postponed or rescheduled for April 23 of this year.”
Wonder what that one requirement is.
Either way, IR sounded pretty confident that they'll get the decision in April when I asked them
