re: Diving deeper on Standard Lithium?

ATLX seems well perched. Still far away from their eventual 3 billion MC. Maiden report is coming out in Q1 and it should show they have the largest untapped lithium deposits in the region. With money already provided to get their processing plant built this year, should be a fun ride, 3x-10x from this point forward imo.

I hate to be that guy but this is going under a $1. I'm in it long term but looking at the chart this is where it's headed.

Saw this news from Tetra
LINK
I thought SLI had the rights to extract lithium from Tetra's Arkansas brines. Not sure why SLI did not release any news on this.

Why in the world do you think that? It's at 30+ right now. The production plant, the MOUs, the confirmed lithium deposits, neighbor valuations with similar valuations, etc.
Under a dollar? We talking about the same stock?

The SWA site used to be Tetra's. SLI acquired the rights from them. The link was referring to new leases Tetra had. They had a sodium plant at the SWA site that went kaput.

Read this in an article LINK
"Speaking privately, bankers say that multiple deals they were working on last year with automakers have failed, as the potential buyers start to take a view that the push for EVs will be slower than first expected and the need to secure materials is less urgent."
Could be this what happened to our suppose deal with a "recognized household name"?

Could be that, or could be that Robert Milton was not quite honest.

This thing ever going to go back up?

On one hand I like the silence, routine "investor conference" announcements scream fake company to me.
But then again the longer the "household name" stays hidden, that screams that mintak is still the guy the fudsters say he is.
I'm hoping my lack of faith in company leadership lately is punished by a massive run.

i bet if lithium demand reversed course and started going up, you could make money on a scam company

That's my hope and think there's little risk buying at these levels. TBH, if it were high enough to encourage the shorts and share lending, I'd be content to keep my trap shut about management.

Now that Saban retired, can this go up? Would be a good start to my year.

I dont think the next lithium boom, if there is one, will be as kind to SLI

Time to test the 52-wk low that happened on 13th December. Once again, I'm at the verge of being margin called.
I really really hope this doesn't drop further.

So what’s the group consensus here. Cut losses, hold and pray, or is there legit shot at this being undervalued and hitting 6,7,8 $ again ?
Posted on 1/11/24 at 9:50 am to Pierre
I'm in the "hold and pray" category.
I think it all depends on how the $3.1 billion estimated NPV of the SWA project is discounted for risk by a potential partner/buyer.
I honestly believe if they sold the company, they could get $6-7 or maybe I'm just kidding myself.

Since they have transitioned from a tech company to a project developer their only hope is to get further along on their projects. I don’t see random sentiment playing a huge role here and developing the 3 projects will take time. I really think they are handcuffed by the lack of a mineral royalty decision until (at least) the Jan 23 hearing and can’t expect any meaningful news until then.
I think Liontown was several months past their big project’s DFS when Albemarle starting trying to buy them. SLI hasn’t started their big DFS yet. Then the third project is even bigger so a buyout should be even farther away if maximizing value.
Positive grant news might help to further legitimize the company as well. Hopefully before April
ETA maybe start SWA DFS soon, but I think they planned to fund that with the $50M shelf offering. Would be a bad time to dilute at current share price. And only like $28M left in cash

Should have known when they built a shed and called it progress.

Might be time to can Mintak and relabel themselves Standard lithium leases.
