Exxon is going to start from scratch in our backyard and sell product before SLI begins construction. This thing is a turd

Pretty sad really. Got a thread 800 plus pages for a stock that will soon be a dollar and some change a share.

It’s a company with a 500 million dollar market cap that doesn’t have a product yet. I don’t even think they sell hats. They are free. It’s purely speculative. If it hits it’s probably going to hit big

But I think there is plenty of time before that happens so plenty of buying opportunities or time to make some $ from other plays and put back into this one

a lot of the speculation could be removed if they made lithium hydroxide to completion and filled a warehouse full of supersacks. Hire an external auditor to witness the production from start to finish and publish the results for everyone to see. But no. Mintak is too busy orchestrating his Third Act

I’m right there with you. I’ve been out for a bit, but bought back in at $2.55 and now $2.49. I have been range trading SNAP lately from $8.50-12.00 in a retirement account. Thought I would give this another try while waiting for SNAP to fall back below $9. Maybe this will get some momentum and I can stay in it. We seem locked into a range here, too. After so many years of having this thing in my book, I’d hate to miss the breakout.

Would it be a bad sign if XOM did not choose SLI as their DLE partner? They’re literally next door and SLI is ahead of the game apparently..

How would that work, though? It’s really Koch’s technology that they’re planning on using and Koch signed an agreement with them that they’d be the only user of that tech in the region.

Would SLI sell its tech to Exxon but run its own plants with Koch tech? That would be the weirdest shite ever.

I always thought it would be funny (and awesome) if SLI could make money licensing their tech to someone else in the Smackover while using Koch's tech themselves. A man can dream

Either that or finish the royalty agreements and focus on producing product for sale. The demo plant might not be a huge amount, but it would get out of the perpetual science project zone curse of past failures.

Saw a post on a FB group about this and found the filing. What are we doing, dilution? Now?

Prospectus Supplement Filing

ETA $50M for these Uses of Proceeds:

· Completion of a PFS in respect of the South West Arkansas Project; $500,000 (Q3 2023);
· Completion of a DFS and FEED study in respect of the LANXESS 1A Project; $2,500,000 (Q3/4 2023);
· Completion of a DFS and FEED for the South West Arkansas Project (including some additional drilling); $12,000,000 (ongoing through Q2 2024);
· Acquisition of additional brine leases East Texas; $10,000,000 (ongoing through Q3 2024);
· Drilling and resource development in East Texas ; $5,000,000 (ongoing through Q3 2024); and
· Negotiation of LXS 1A project finance, finalise commercial agreements and LSTK/EPC pricing; $1,500,000 (ongoing through Q1 2024).

ETA2 According to ChatGPT, if they issued the $50M in new shares all at once at current share price, the share price would drop from $2.54 to $2.29. (If it's a straightforward calculation).

This is the kinda release that I like and if you can't produce and sell, then this is the next best thing to do. They need to hurry up and get those royalties figured out! Ms. Huckabee needs to light a fire under these commissioners.

Glad I was not involved in his gig.

As long-time shareholders, just imagine, if there were a Second Coming of El Gaucho. We could have wonderful entertainment value for the time being if our stock continues to plummet.

I feel like SLI is like the Louisiana government who keeps spending money on studies and not taking any action.

They are in advertising mode. They are looking for someone to carry them to the finish line. That's the only non dilutive option.

For example, do you include the Calcasieu River/Interstate 10 Bridge Project ?

Yep. Reminds me of Albemarle’s Land Manager backhanding us in September,

“One of the things you don’t read about is how we’re going to do lithium in the Smackover (Formation), and there are a couple of reasons for that. We’ve already got a plant here, so we already have our (brine production) fields. We’re not trying to sell stock. We’re not a start-up company. We’re a world leader.
Mark my words: There is going to be lithium made in South Arkansas and you’ll see the Albemarle logo connected with it.”
