I think the predominant theory would be that the PEA had such a ‘definitive’ timeline that the impact of the news is already baked into the price.

I agree as far as current stock owners go...most have already figured in the PEA. That said, I think what we need for a more pronounced price increase is simply more publicity. We need new investors FOMOing into the stock. So far, I'm not seeing much publicity out there in the main stream media. If you google "standard lithium pea", you'll only see 4 outlets (Yahoo Finance, Investor Observer, Bastreet.ca, and Market Screener) running this story.

Geez bro. Thinking about adding some PLTR myself, but the market cap and multiples seem pretty high already. What's your price target five years out on that one?

No change at all yesterday or today in my fully paid lending lent out shares here.... odd...

Currently overvalued, but honestly what isn't?

5 years form now I am also not sure. As long as they continue with gov't projects, they will be more than fine. 5 years form now I was assuming around $70-75 range, but that was when I bought at their "IPO". This entire 'meme stonk' phenomenon happened right when they went public, so I don't know shite about frick anymore.

My DCA is around $13, FWIW

Jim you may be right on the lithium and clothing business
Shovels & Pickaxes: During the 1849 California Gold Rush, people left home to try their hand at mining for gold. While very few people found wealth in “them thar hills,” many people found success selling shovels and pickaxes to the miners. In fact, pant maker Levi Strauss (LEVI) got its start selling pants to 49ers. Many investors find an important lesson in this bit of history, as sometimes the best investment is those selling to the diggers.

So is the next PR gonna be the JV PR? Then I can really sleep like a baby at night after that risk is put away. What do y'all think the PR lineup looks like going forward?

JV PR (November 2021?)
FID on 1st plant (December 2021 ?)
Offtake agreements/partnerships with automakers? (Q1 2022?)

Problem with PLTR is not the company, it's the stock and dilution.

I'll go ahead and push all these back a quarter.

Yep, once that announcement comes, this thing can bounce all over and a smile will never leave my face.

I’m done speculating on timelines with these tardy Canucks any more, and I may be wrong, but I do think it may actually take the JV to capture the rest of the value from the PEA. Until financing is settled and scale up can begin, investors wouldn’t be out of line to continue viewing this as somewhat speculative.

Once JV is signed I think institutional investment is going to pour in big time. Until then, a lot of them won't/can't touch it.

Neither would we. Until the JV is official this is all speculative.

Nice strength into the close. But overall somewhat depressing that most of the idiots day trading this today probably don't have the attention span to read a multi page PR.

Longtime lurker here, and follower of this stock for a while as well (750 shares and counting).

Anyway, with all this talk of the PEA I wanted to take a step back and have another look at their technology as it relates to the long term. Do we have a good feel for SLI’s extraction process and how it relates to other competitors’ ‘green’ brine extraction? How disruptive is it really, relative to its competitors? Is it really a game changer? It’s obviously superior to the traditional (lengthy) brine extraction process but the technology doesn’t seem that difficult to replicate with other chemical processes.

SLI is obviously well-positioned to capitalize in the smackover area, but does it have decent prospects on the horizon elsewhere globally? What I’m trying to understand, in the simplest terms, is it’s moonshot potential.
