We need to start on big thread on what to invest in with all the government cheese coming down the pike. I need some ideas on good inflation investments ideas besides real-estate, crypto and gold.

Just playing devils advocate. Why hasn’t this happened yet? Dxy is getting stronger? If we devalue our currency as fast as every other major developed country devalues theirs. Does the dollar go to crap?

Cost of living is pretty cheap if you live simply
Eventually the democrats will make it too much trouble to legally own land you don’t physically stand over with a gun all the time through eminent domain and giving it to the less fortunate and shite. When that happens I’m out. Citizenship there is pretty cheap now, like half the price it was a few years ago

3rd world countries hardly blink when recessions or depressions happen.
Outside of chance some druglord tries to take over, most are pretty self sufficient and off the grid.

If we all devalue at the same rate over time, either get a global depression or it may not make a shite.

I grew up with a family that has land on Utila, an island off the coast of Routan. I never made it out there to see it but they built a small resort out a dive business. Don’t think it turned out to be a big money maker for several reasons, but they’ve managed to be able to have their own coastal paradise for the last 35 years.

It’s about living someplace where I won’t have to give 80% of my income to the government, and where my children won’t be forced to take puberty blockers and be bombarded with “diverse” couples on tv
A lot of 3rd world countries don’t have income tax, can’t even treat their 40% hiv rate and don’t have tv channels to speak of
America is a shithole by comparison
